Hou je van lekker eten, een goed glas wijn en gasten die met een glimlach naar huis gaan? Brasserie Midi in Gent zoekt een enthousiaste zaalmedewerker met ervaring en een passie voor eten en gastronomie.

Je zorgt samen met je collega’s voor een warme ontvangst en een vlotte, verzorgde bediening. Je hebt oog voor detail, voelt aan wat gasten nodig hebben en vertelt met plezier over onze gerechten en wijnen.

Wat houdt je job in?

• Je maakt de zaal klaar voor de service en zorgt voor een verzorgde mise-en-place. • Je verwelkomt gasten en begeleidt hen naar hun tafel. • Je neemt bestellingen op en geeft uitleg over de gerechten en dranken. • Je serveert gerechten en wijnen met aandacht en zorg. • Je verdiept je in onze wijnkaart zodat je gasten kunt helpen bij hun keuze. • Je werkt nauw samen met de keuken en je collega’s in de zaal. • Je zorgt mee voor een nette, ordelijke zaal tijdens en na de service.

• Je hebt al ervaring in de zaal van een restaurant of brasserie en kent de basis van een verzorgde bediening. • Je hebt vooral veel goesting om met eten en gastronomie bezig te zijn. Je bent nieuwsgierig naar producten, bereidingen en smaken en deelt dat enthousiasme graag met onze gasten. • Je hebt interesse in wijn en wilt je kennis verder uitbreiden. Bestaande wijnkennis is een pluspunt; leergierigheid is een must. • Je bent gastvrij, attent en verzorgd in je omgang. • Je neemt initiatief en ziet waar je kunt helpen. • Je werkt graag in team en communiceert duidelijk met je collega’s. • Ook tijdens een drukke service blijf je vriendelijk en behoud je het overzicht.
