Head de Despliegue de Infraestructura de Data Center Cómputo y Conectividad Física

Ubicación: Medellín, Colombia

Estamos construyendo data centers de inteligencia artificial y buscamos a la persona que liderará la vertical encargada de convertir los diseños de Engineering en infraestructura física instalada, validada, documentada y lista para producción, de forma segura, predecible y escalable a múltiples sitios.

El alcance incluye sistemas de cómputo GPU y empresariales, plataformas de red, racks, cableado estructurado, fibra de alta densidad, cobre y componentes pasivos y ópticos. El rol responde por el resultado del despliegue, ya sea ejecutado por equipos internos, contratistas, integradores o fabricantes.

Qué harás

- Construir la capacidad de despliegue: modelo operativo, organización, estándares y gobierno, combinando equipos internos, supervisores y socios externos.

- Construir junto a la PMO el cronograma de ejecución y responder por su cumplimiento, definiendo recursos, cuadrillas, herramientas y planes de recuperación.

- Gobernar contratistas y calidad de ejecución: participar en su selección técnica, establecer inspecciones, puntos de control y gestión de no conformidades.

- Controlar los equipos desde la recepción hasta la entrega: cadena de custodia, etiquetado de activos, cuarentena, RMA y trazabilidad.

- Asegurar documentación confiable (as-built, mapas de puertos, inventario, DCIM) y coordinar el commissioning y la entrega formal a Operations.

Qué buscamos

- Experiencia liderando despliegues, implementaciones o commissioning de infraestructura física en data centers, telecomunicaciones, cloud, redes o entornos críticos comparables.

- Trayectoria construyendo funciones completas de despliegue: diseño organizacional, desarrollo de líderes, estándares y planeación de capacidad.

- Experiencia dirigiendo equipos internos y contratistas.

- Conocimiento técnico práctico de hardware de cómputo y red, racks, cableado estructurado y fibra.

- Experiencia en aseguramiento de calidad, aceptación basada en evidencia y gestión de activos, inventario y RMA.

- Capacidad de influir en stakeholders de distintas áreas (Engineering, Facilities, Operations, Supply Chain).

- Español profesional y disponibilidad para viajar a data centers y trabajar fuera del horario habitual durante olas de despliegue.

Suma si tienes

- Experiencia con infraestructura GPU, AI, HPC o cómputo de alta densidad.

- Experiencia con fabrics de alta velocidad o plataformas multivendor.

- Experiencia construyendo operaciones de despliegue multi-sitio.

- Manejo de DCIM (NetBox, Nautobot o similares).

- Inglés funcional y certificaciones en infraestructura, cableado, gestión de proyectos, calidad o seguridad.
