RETHINK MANUFACTURING

The only way to ignite change is to build the best team. At Bright Machines, we’re innovators and experts in our craft who have joined together to manufacture the AI and data center infrastructure at the edge. We believe unifying software, intelligent automation, and data is the answer to delivering quality and flexibility at scale. We deliver products to meet the demands of today while continuously investing in our Bright Factory model to take advantage of what comes next.

Working with us means you’ll have the opportunity to make lasting, impactful changes for our company and our customers. If you’re ready to apply your exceptional skills to a brighter way of manufacturing AI infrastructure, we’d love to speak with you.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Bright Machines is looking for an Inventory Control Analyst to ensure inventory accuracy and materials visibility across Guadalajara, San Francisco, and other locations. In this role, you will lead inventory control processes, analyze excess and obsolete materials, manage inventory data in NetSuite, and drive consistent standards across sites. You will also support the development of the company's first MRP process, providing reliable inventory data to improve material planning and supply chain decisions.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Design and manage the multi-site cycle count program, including schedules, accuracy targets, and reconciliation processes.
  • Lead physical inventories across sites, coordinate local teams, reconcile results, and obtain Finance sign-off.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
  • Own intercompany POs, SOs, and inventory transfers, ensuring proper documentation, execution, and financial reconciliation.
  • Analyze excess, obsolete, slow-moving, and stranded inventory by project and site; prepare monthly reports and recommend disposition actions.
  • Establish material handling standards for labeling, storage, FIFO/FEFO, shelf life, ESD, moisture-sensitive materials, quarantine, and segregation.
  • Prepare monthly inventory reports and KPI dashboards covering value, aging, accuracy, trends, and risks; present findings to Supply Chain, Operations, and Finance leadership.
  • Maintain NetSuite inventory master data, including units of measure, lot/serial tracking, locations, bins, and item status.
  • Support MRP design and implementation, ensuring accurate inventory data, availability, and allocations.
  • Develop inventory SOPs, train site teams, and standardize processes across locations.
  • Implement and sustain 5S practices in stockrooms and warehouses, conducting audits and tracking results.
  • Lead continuous improvement projects using root-cause analysis, 5 Whys, Pareto, value stream mapping, and Kaizen to reduce errors and waste.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain, Logistics, Trade Compliance, Finance, Quality, and Procurement on inventory accuracy, material flows, and applicable IMMEX and customs documentation.

WHAT WE WANT TO SEE

  • 6–9 years of experience in inventory control, materials management, or supply chain planning in manufacturing.
  • At least 2 years owning inventory programs across multiple sites or entities.
  • Strong ERP skills, preferably NetSuite, including intercompany transactions, inventory adjustments, master data, and reporting.
  • Proven experience managing cycle count programs and improving inventory accuracy.
  • Hands-on experience with E&O analysis and inventory reserves in partnership with Finance.
  • Experience managing intercompany transactions and cross-border material flows.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and data modeling.
  • Professional English proficiency to write procedures, prepare reports, and present to US-based leadership independently.
  • Native or fluent Spanish.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.

IT WOULD BE NICE IF YOU HAD

  • Electronics or EMS manufacturing experience, including ESD, moisture-sensitive components, shelf life, and reel/tray handling.
  • Working knowledge of IMMEX, Anexo 24, and Anexo 30 and their impact on inventory documentation.
  • MRP implementation experience in an ERP system.
  • APICS CPIM or CSCP certification.
  • Experience auditing inventory at other sites or third-party locations.
  • Lean manufacturing, 5S, or Kaizen knowledge; Six Sigma Yellow or Green Belt certification.
  • Experience in automation, robotics, or complex assembly environments.
  • Power BI or similar reporting tools experience.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
