Salary Range: $110,000 - $150,000 annualized salary Territory: California (travel required)

Join the Bristol Hospice team as a Regional Director of Hospice Services, a hands-on leader who helps our California teams get better at what they do every day. This role travels throughout the entire California territory, working on site with our locations to dig into processes, find what’s getting in the way, and fix it alongside the people doing the work.

You won’t just audit and leave. You’ll train and educate teams in person and walk with them through system implementations, care model changes, staffing changes, and quality initiatives until the new way of working sticks. When needed, you’ll step in as Executive Director, Director of Patient Care Services, or Clinical Supervisor to keep care and operations steady.

On An Average Day You Will: (includes, but not limited to)

Dig into processes and drive improvement

  • Review clinical and operational processes on site, identify gaps, and put corrective action plans in place
  • Monitor operational, financial, quality, and clinical performance, and follow through until goals are met
  • Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, accreditation, and company requirements

Train, educate, and walk alongside teams

  • Deliver hands-on training and education to location teams and leaders
  • Guide teams through system implementations so new tools are adopted and used correctly
  • Support teams through quality care model changes, staffing model changes, and other operational initiatives
  • Coach interdisciplinary teams and leaders so improvements last after you leave

Lead when and where needed

  • Serve as Executive Director, Director of Patient Care Services, or Clinical Supervisor as directed Ensure appropriate staffing, staff development, and ongoing professional education Manage conflict resolution, complaint investigations, and operational challenges Promote clear communication and collaboration among staff, leadership, vendors, and community partners Ensure ethical business and clinical practices across all operations Perform other duties and special projects as assigned

What You'll Bring to The Team:

  • Must have a Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
  • Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) with an active, unrestricted nursing license
  • 5+ years of hospice leadership or administration experience
  • Knowledge of hospice operations, interdisciplinary care delivery, and regulatory requirements
  • Strong leadership, team management, and relationship-building skills
  • Experience with Medicare Conditions of Participation and accreditation standards
  • Ability to work effectively with healthcare providers, community partners, and executive leadership
  • Willingness to obtain additional RN licensure as needed
  • Ability to travel extensively
  • Flexible and adaptable work schedule
