Job Title: Concierge Job Department: Conference Services Job Pay Rate: $18.00 / hour Job Summary: As a Conference Services Concierge, you will assist the Conference Manager and Catering Sales Manager coordinating all aspects of on-site meetings, weddings, and conference events to meet our luxury Broadmoor standards. Learn more about Broadmoor here. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include following. Other duties may be assigned:
Inspect meeting rooms and event spaces for maintenance issues; verify setups match client requirements. And ensure meeting rooms are open for clients. Act as the primary contact between meeting planners and hotel departments, responding via phone, email, and in person. Create door cards, event signage, reader boards, and daily shift reports. Attend daily operations and pre-conference/BEO (Banquet Event Order) meetings. Receive, store, and distribute conference packages, materials, and planner supplies. Coordinate directly with AV, maintenance, convention services, and banquets to resolve las-minute requests or issues. Builds and maintains strong, professional relationships with client contacts to foster effective communication, collaboration, and service excellence. Ensure complete compliance with The Broadmoor guidelines, operational procedures, safety policies, and institutional standards for excellence (Forbes Travel Guide and AAA Five-Diamond). Maintain a willingness to learn about The Broadmoor’s history, estate grounds, wilderness properties, culinary offerings, and retail outlets. Execute additional duties and responsibilities as required.

What we are looking for:
Associate’s degree (A.A) from a two-year college/technical school. Previous experience in hospitality or event planner is highly preferred; however, an equivalent combination of relevant education and professional background will be considered. A valid driver’s license is required, as this role may involve transporting equipment across the Resort. Please note that all employees operating Broadmoor vehicles must be at least 18 years of age. Ability to utilize Microsoft Office tools for documentation and email communication, property management, Spreadsheets, Database software, AS400, DELPHI and Social Tables. Ability to plan, prioritize and organize work assignments for self and the event managers you support. Ability to resolve problems and exercise good judgment when event manager is not available to you. Ability to focus attention on details. Ability to create and read a Banquet Event Order (BEO), as well as read between the lines of a BEO to ensure all items listed or needed/anticipated are provided Ability to maintain strict confidentiality. A highly motivated team player who connects easily with colleagues and drives results through positive energy and seamless collaboration. Excellent communication skills, negotiation, conflict resolution and ability to work in fast-paced environment. Ability to lift, pull, or push up to 50 lbs. with assistance and proper safety practices. Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as required by the calendar of events.
