Budd Baer Automotive in Washington, PA, is hiring Automotive Service Technicians and Automotive Mechanics to join our growing service team!

What You’ll Do

  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair customer vehicles.
  • Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and mechanical repairs.
  • Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, suspension, and electrical systems.
  • Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify vehicle issues.
  • Complete repairs according to manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
  • Perform multi-point vehicle inspections and identify recommended maintenance.
  • Communicate findings and repair recommendations to service advisors.
  • Accurately document completed repairs and services.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Work collaboratively with fellow technicians and service department staff to provide an exceptional customer experience.

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous professional automotive repair or service technician experience preferred.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience diagnosing and repairing modern vehicle systems.
  • Familiarity with automotive diagnostic equipment and repair procedures.
  • ASE certifications or manufacturer-specific training are a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and repair procedures.
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of an automotive service environment.
