CACI’s National Mission Systems (NMS) group is seeking a highly motivated Project Manager to lead a modern end to end ground solution supporting mission critical space operations. This role puts you at the center of delivering secure, resilient space mission management, advanced data processing, and cutting edge ground infrastructure. You will shape how national security missions are executed from space to ground using modern deployment approaches, agile methodologies, and emerging technologies.

Responsibilities:

As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for contract and technical performance, guiding a multi disciplinary agile team to design, develop, and deploy capabilities that directly support critical national space missions. You will build trusted relationships with customers, subcontractors, and employees to drive both program success and CACI’s reputation as a mission partner. This includes:

• Effectively communicate issues and solutions to the Government Program Office in a timely, transparent, and mission focused manner.

• Translate evolving customer priorities into actionable, high impact work items aligned with space domain mission needs.

• Communicate Program and Customer expectations across teams and decompose them into clear work items that drive mission readiness.

• Develop solutions and track items to closure, ensuring continuous momentum toward mission objectives.

• Maintain and foster a collaborative and friendly working environment that empowers innovation and problem solving.

• Identify inter and intra program dependencies that affect the delivery of space mission capabilities.

• Remove blocking activities to ensure team progression toward critical customer priorities and operational timelines.

• Rapidly assemble and execute focused cross disciplinary Government/Contractor teams to address cost, schedule, or technical program/contract issues—delivering decisive action when mission outcomes depend on it.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Available to work in-person at a CACI facility in Sterling, VA.

• Clearance: US Citizen with active TS/SCI with CI poly.

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a related business or STEM field.

• Successful management of a hardware/software program of similar size, scope, and complexity—preferably aligned with mission-critical or space domain environments.

• 5+ years of Program/Project Management experience.

• Westfields or Intelligence Community experience.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead diverse technical teams supporting sensitive missions.

• Strong problem solving skills and the ability to drive solutions under pressure.

• Subcontract Management experience.

Desired:

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
