In this role, you will help maintain the availability, reliability, and performance of systems and services supporting users across domestic and global operations. You will work alongside technical teams, Government stakeholders, and mission partners to troubleshoot complex issues, manage incidents and service requests, support infrastructure and applications, implement changes, and continuously improve the end-user experience.

Candidates may be considered for multiple levels based on their years of experience, technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and ability to independently manage increasingly complex assignments.

Responsibilities

  • Support Total Ticket Ownership (TTO) throughout the incident and service request lifecycle, including ticket logging, triage, troubleshooting, resolution, escalation, documentation, and root cause analysis.
  • Provide desktop and end-user systems support, troubleshooting hardware, software, operating system, connectivity, account, and peripheral issues within an enterprise environment.
  • Manage and support Government-Furnished Equipment (GFE) and provide limited technical support for approved mobile devices.
  • Perform systems and infrastructure administration supporting domestic and enterprise operations, including workstation, peripheral, card printer, consular office system, and web services infrastructure.
  • Install, configure, deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise applications and services.
  • Support collaboration platforms and other enterprise tools used across geographically dispersed environments.
  • Perform network operations activities supporting reliable enterprise connectivity, availability, and performance.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve systems, infrastructure, application, and network-related incidents in coordination with appropriate technical teams.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain and improve Ticket Management System configurations, workflows, classifications, and processes.
  • Support and enhance self-service and self-help capabilities, including password resets, account provisioning, hardware and software requests, troubleshooting resources, and knowledge management content.
  • Participate in Problem Management and root cause analysis, identifying recurring issues, documenting findings, tracking corrective actions, and recommending long-term solutions.
  • Support Change Management activities by initiating, documenting, reviewing, tracking, and implementing approved changes to IT systems, services, applications, and infrastructure.
  • Assist with impact analysis, risk assessment, implementation planning, validation, and post-implementation reviews for technical changes.
  • Maintain accurate system, incident, problem, change, configuration, and operational documentation to support audit and compliance requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to improve hardware, software, workflows, processes, procedures, automation, and overall service delivery.
  • Collaborate with Government stakeholders, Product Teams, engineering teams, service desk personnel, network teams, and other technical organizations to resolve issues and support enterprise objectives.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, knowledge articles, standard operating procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Apply ITSM principles and established policies, procedures, security requirements, and technical standards to day-to-day operations.
  • Perform additional systems administration and enterprise IT support activities as required to meet mission and operational requirements.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
