We are looking for a self-motivated, commercially focused and results-driven Digital Marketing Manager to lead and optimise our digital marketing activities. Working closely with Marketing Manager and Domestic Sales Manager, you will develop and execute digital strategies and campaigns that drive lead generation, customer acquisition and conversion across key business segments.

As the digital marketing subject matter expert within the business, you will lead our approach to paid media, SEO, AEO and digital performance, identifying new opportunities for growth and providing strategic insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders. You will also oversee the ongoing optimisation of the Calor Ireland website, improving organic search visibility, customer journeys and conversion performance through data-driven insights and continuous improvement.

You will lead the digital marketing team, manage agency relationships and digital marketing budgets, and ensure all activities deliver measurable results aligned with business objectives.

Functions of the role/Main Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with Strategic Marketing Manager and Domestic Sales Manager to develop and implement digital marketing strategies that drive lead generation, customer acquisition, conversion and business growth across key customer segments.
  • Plan, manage and execute digital marketing activities across organic and paid channels, including SEO, AEO (Answer Engine Optimisation), SEM, Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, email marketing, display advertising and digital partnerships.
  • Drive organic search performance across the Calor website through continuous SEO and AEO monitoring, technical and content optimisation, and the implementation of best practices to improve search visibility, website traffic and conversions.
  • Act as the digital marketing subject matter expert within the business, providing strategic guidance and recommendations to senior stakeholders on digital marketing performance, emerging trends, opportunities and initiatives to support business objectives.
  • Measure, analyse and report on digital marketing campaign performance against agreed KPIs, ROI and business objectives, conducting post-campaign analysis and implementing improvements to maximise effectiveness.
  • Lead, coach and manage the digital marketing team, ensuring clear objectives, regular feedback and strong accountability, providing direction, support and development to ensure effective delivery of digital marketing objectives.
  • Manage and optimise website performance, customer journeys, landing pages and conversion funnels to improve user experience and maximise lead conversion, using analytics and A/B testing to inform continuous improvement.
  • Develop and optimise digital content across key channels, including corporate websites, social media, paid advertising and partner platforms, ensuring alignment with brand positioning and segment objectives.
  • Oversee digital marketing analytics, conversion tracking and reporting capabilities to provide actionable insights, improve marketing attribution and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams across SHV business units to share best practices, identify opportunities for innovation and participate in relevant digital marketing initiatives and pilot programmes.
  • Manage relationships with external agencies, technology providers and vendor partners to ensure effective delivery of digital marketing activities and agreed performance objectives.
  • Manage digital marketing budgets, including media investment, forecasting, performance monitoring and reporting, to maximise return on investment.
  • To deliver excellence in customer experience (CX) by embodying Calor’s values and upholding the standards of accountability, seamless service, and curiosity.
  • Ensure that health and safety of yourself, your team and your colleagues is a priority in everything that you do - log Health and Safety conversations, as appropriate focusing on either an ‘unsafe condition’ where we see something that could cause injury to a person or an ‘unsafe act’ which is something that someone does that can lead to injury.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
