Wir suchen für unseren Bereich “Kommunikation und Marketing” ab sofort einen Redakteur (m/w/d) in Voll-/Teilzeit (50-100%) in Gießen mit einer Leidenschaft für Sprache und einem Herzen für die humanitäre Hilfe. Deine Arbeit lädt Menschen dazu ein, Teil unseres Mitmachhilfswerks zu werden, die materielle Not von Menschen weltweit zu lindern, Hoffnung zu ermöglichen und Gottes Liebe ganz praktisch zu reflektieren.

Wer wir sind:

Wir sind nicht eines der ganz großen Hilfswerke, aber genau das ist auch eine unserer Stärken. Wir kennen unsere Partner vor Ort, wir wissen, wo unsere Hilfe ankommt. Gemeinsam mit einem großen Netzwerk aus Privatleuten, Firmen und anderen Hilfsorganisationen können wir kurzfristig und effektiv da helfen, wo es gerade brennt. Bei unseren Mitmachaktionen findet jeder eine Möglichkeit, selbst aktiv zu werden. Bei GAiN arbeiten momentan mehr als 50 motivierte Menschen. Sie alle treibt der Wunsch an, etwas verändern zu wollen und Menschen in Not zu helfen.

Deine Aufgaben:

  • Du verwandelst Berichte aus unseren Projektländern in hoffnungsvolle Geschichten für unsere Print- und Online- Medien
  • Du findest einen ansprechenden Ton für unserezahlreichen Veröffentlichungen wie Flyer, Spendenbriefe, bewegt-Magazin, Anzeigen, Homepage, Präsentationen, Presseartikel und und und.
  • Du liest, übersetzt, korrigierst, redigierst und archivierstunsere Veröffentlichungen
  • Du vermittelst dabei Vision und Werte von GAiN
  • Wie bei vielen Stellen bei GAiN finanzierst du dein Gehalt über einen Spenderkreis. Wir unterstützen dich mit fundierten Schulungen und bewährten Ressourcen

Das bringst du mit:

  • Dein Gespür für Worte und Geschichten und die Fähigkeit, komplexe Sachverhalte verständlich und ansprechend darzustellen
  • Perfektes Deutsch in Wort und Schrift, sowie sehr gute Englischkenntnisse
  • Deine Erfahrungen im Storytelling
  • Deine selbstständige, kreative und teamfähige Arbeitsweise
  • Dein Interesse an Fundraising
  • Erfahrungen im Umgang mit Anwendungen wie Microsoft Word, Google Workspace oder TYPO3 sind ein Plus
  • Ein abgeschlossenes Studium oder eine Berufsausbildung, idealerweise im Bereich Kommunikation, Journalismus, PR oder vergleichbarer Richtung
  • Dein Herz für humanitäre Arbeit und den Wunsch, einen echten Unterschied zu machen
