The posting

CANNORDIC is looking for a self-driven sales professional to accelerate our international growth. We are a MedTech scale-up with a proven track record of more than one million units sold since launch.

At CANNORDIC, you can craft your career and bring ideas to life within a team of pioneers. Our CANNASEN® brand, unique CBD technology, and fast-growing global business will provide numerous opportunities to develop your skills and explore new paths.

About the job

We are seeking a commercially driven Sales Manager to develop international SME accounts and win new business. You will join a small, highly collaborative team with short decision-making processes.

You will drive distribution and sales of our product portfolio, including CANNASEN® branded and own-label products. You will identify new opportunities, build a qualified pipeline and negotiate profitable partnerships that create value for both CANNORDIC and our customers. AI-enabled tools will support prospecting, market mapping, account research, lead qualification and pipeline management.

The role reports to CCO, Mikkel Raahauge Nielsen and is based at our office in Copenhagen.

Key responsibilities:

• Build and manage a qualified international sales pipeline across relevant markets, channels and customer segments.

• Identify, engage and acquire new SME customers through structured prospecting, research, qualification and consultative selling.

• Use AI-enabled tools to support market mapping, account research, lead qualification, sales preparation and pipeline management.

• Develop selected key accounts through joint business plans, product launches, training and commercially sound growth initiatives.

• Negotiate and close profitable partnership agreements for CANNASEN® branded and own-label products.

• Identify new markets that align with CANNORDIC’s regulatory capabilities and commercial priorities.

• Maintain reliable customer forecasts to support production planning six months ahead and commercial budgeting for 12 months or more.

• Monitor sales performance, pipeline health, account profitability, investments and commercial risks, taking corrective action when required.

• Collaborate with regulatory, operations, marketing and other stakeholders to ensure compliant launches and excellent customer execution.

• Build strong partner capabilities through product education and ongoing knowledge sharing, supporting sustainable repeat business.

Required qualifications:

• At least three years of successful B2B sales or business development experience, preferably within pharmaceuticals, OTC healthcare, MedTech or retail.

• Demonstrated ability to build a pipeline, acquire new customers and progress opportunities from first contact to signed agreement.

• Strong commercial and negotiation skills, with a resilient and accountable lead-to-deal mindset.

• Experience managing distributors, SME customers or key accounts across multiple markets.

• Ability to interpret commercial data and translate insights into effective account and sales strategies.

• Strong planning, prioritisation, forecasting and project-management capabilities.

•Self-motivated and comfortable taking ownership in a small, agile organisation while collaborating effectively across functions.

• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills in English.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint and practical experience using AI-enabled tools in commercial work.

• A bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales, marketing or a related field—or equivalent relevant experience.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience from a regulated healthcare, pharmaceutical, cannabinoid or OTC environment.

• Experience with international distributors and own-label partnerships.

• Knowledge of market-entry considerations and local regulatory requirements.

• Fluent English and another foreign language apart from Danish relevant for European negotiation.

• Experience with CRM systems, structured forecasting and data-driven account planning.

What we offer:

• A key commercial role with direct influence on CANNORDIC’s international growth.

• Responsibility and autonomy in a small, agile organisation with short decision-making processes.

• The opportunity to work with innovative products in the growing MedTech and OTC healthcare sector.

• International exposure through customers, distributors, trade fairs and industry events.

• Professional development through close collaboration across sales, marketing, operations and regulatory affairs.

• A Copenhagen-based workplace and approximately 10% international travel.

Application:

Please send your CV and cover letter in English to CCO Mikkel Raahauge Nielsen at [email protected]. For questions, call +45 53 55 74 42. Applications will be reviewed on an ongoing basis, and the position will be closed once the right candidate has been identified. Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
