As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Estimation & Procurement Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring efficient and cost-effective procurement processes and accurate project estimations. Job Summary: The Estimation & Procurement Manager will be responsible for overseeing the estimation of project costs and managing the procurement process for infrastructure, steel, and power industry projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estimating, sourcing materials, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships. Responsibilities: Estimation: Conduct detailed project cost estimations for infrastructure, steel, and power projects, considering all relevant factors. Collaborate with project managers and engineers to gather project requirements and specifications. Analyze and interpret project blueprints and technical documents. Ensure accurate and competitive estimates to secure project bids. Procurement: Develop and implement procurement strategies for infrastructure, steel, and power projects. Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, subcontractors, and service providers. Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with vendors to secure favorable agreements. Monitor and analyze market trends to make informed procurement decisions. Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure contracts meet regulatory requirements. Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and subcontractors. Evaluate supplier performance and conduct regular supplier assessments. Address any issues or concerns with suppliers to ensure project success. Cost Management: Monitor and control project costs throughout the procurement process. Work closely with finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate budgeting and cost tracking. Risk Management: Identify and assess potential risks associated with procurement activities. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with project management, engineering, and other teams to ensure alignment of procurement activities with project requirements. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus. Proven experience in estimation and procurement within the infrastructure, steel, and power industry. Strong understanding of project management principles. Excellent negotiation and contract management skills. Familiarity with industry regulations and standards. Analytical and strategic thinking skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus. Proven experience in estimation and procurement within the infrastructure, steel, and power industry. Strong understanding of project management principles.
