The posting

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Estimator / Quantity Surveyor (QS) with a strong background in interior fit-out projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of cost estimation and quantity surveying for residential villas and commercial fit-out projects. The role requires excellent analytical skills, precision, and the ability to work under tight deadlines. Immediate joiners will be given priority. Key Responsibilities: 1. Estimation & Costing Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates and budgets for interior fit-out projects. Analyse drawings, project specifications, and related documents to determine costs. Review tender documents and ensure all items are covered in the pricing. 2. Quantity Surveying Prepare detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQ) based on project drawings and site requirements. Conduct material take-offs and site measurements. Evaluate and approve subcontractor and supplier invoices and claims. 3. Tendering & Procurement Request and analyse quotations from vendors and subcontractors. Prepare tender submissions with supporting cost breakdowns. Assist in procurement and negotiation with suppliers and contractors. 4. Project Coordination Liaise with project managers, engineers, and designers to ensure alignment of cost and design. Monitor project budgets, timelines, and cost control throughout the project lifecycle. Provide cost comparisons and value engineering solutions to ensure cost-effectiveness. 5. Reporting Prepare interim valuations, final accounts, and cost reports. Maintain documentation for all cost and project activities. Highlight cost variations and prepare reports on project profitability. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field. 3–5 years of proven experience in fit-out estimation and quantity surveying. Strong knowledge of villa and commercial project fit-outs. Familiarity with local UAE market rates, suppliers, and fit-out processes. Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and quantity take-off software. Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Immediate joiner preferred.
