SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS

Ability to maintain appropriate relationships with people with disabilities and at-risk adolescents utilizing normalization principles. Ability to interact effectively with all levels of CAU staff, members’ families, and within the community. Ability to express oneself, both in writing and verbally, in a comprehensive manner, using the English language. Good planning and organization skills. Working knowledge of computer software programs including Microsoft Office products Ability to be resourceful and work independently. Ability to perform basic mathematical functions. Ability to problem-solve. Ability to deliver effective presentations. Ability to deliver effective training programs. Demonstrate responsible leadership, mentoring, and role-modeling. Access to an automobile vehicle, valid driver’s license, and safe driving record required.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION Responsible for ensuring the coordination of quality medical services for members.

JOB TASKS

Complete medical audits appropriately. Maintain effective member/program relations. Conduct member assessments regarding medical issues and situations. Conduct staff training on member medical needs. Conduct training with members on medical issues and situations. Ensure a high level of quality assurance regarding members’ medical needs. Thoroughly documents all members’ medical/health issues and situations. Maintain program operations and facilitate program development. Cooperate with Agency, legal authorities and Department of Human Services or any part or successor thereof     in any inspection or investigation. Ensure compliance with all required state and federally mandated background and exclusion checks including but not limited to criminal history background investigation (fingerprinting), Central Registry, Child Abuse Record Information (CARI), drug testing, and motor vehicle checks. Ensure compliance with wearing a mask when mandated by State, Federal, and Licensing authorities during a public health crisis/pandemic. All other duties as assigned.
