Are you proactive, persuasive, and great at building relationships? Join us as an Outbound Customer Service Representative representing a leading Portuguese communications and entertainment group.

Role Overview

  • Start Date: November 2nd
  • Position: Portuguese Customer Service Representative – Outbound
  • Primary Objective: Contact potential clients to handle customer acquisition (angariação).
  • Key Responsibilities: Identify customer needs and demonstrate the value of products and services during every interaction.

Location & Facilities

  • Workplace: Onsite in Lisbon
  • On-Site Amenities: Lounge, cafeteria, modern operations floor, and meeting rooms.

Work Schedule & Benefits

  • Working Hours: 40 hours per week (8 hours/day with a 1-hour lunch break).
  • Vacation & Holidays: 22 days of paid vacation per year under Portuguese labor law, plus Portuguese public holidays (working on a public holiday grants a compensatory day off).
  • Health Coverage: Private health and dental insurance upon signing the employment contract (requires NIF and Social Security number).

Compensation Structure & Contract Details

Contract Terms

  1. Training Stage: Sign a Training Agreement on Day 1 (November 2nd).
  2. Initial Employment: Upon successful completion of training, sign a fixed-term contract (termo incerto) with an estimated initial duration of 12 months, extendable for an additional 12 months.
  3. Permanent Contract: Opportunity for a permanent contract after 2 years.

Monthly Gross Salary Breakdown (Full-Time: 8 Hours / Day)

  • Base Salary: €920.00 / month
  • Christmas Allowance (Paid in 12ths / Duodécimos): €76.67 / month
  • Vacation Allowance (Paid in 12ths / Duodécimos): €76.67 / month
  • Meal Allowance: €154.00 / month (€7.00/day via a tax-exempt prepaid card)
  • Total Gross Salary (Based on 22 working days): €1,227.33 / month

(Note: Part-time options for 5h, 6h, or 7h per day are also available with proportional gross earnings ranging from €824.83 to €1,093.17 per month).

Mandatory Statutory Deductions:

  • IRS (Income Tax): Approx. 7% to 18% (depending on marital status and dependents).
  • Social Security: 11% (provides access to the public health system and pensions).

Training Program

  • Duration: 5 business days (8 hours/day) starting November 2nd + up to 5 business days of practical internship.
  • Schedule: Matches regular working hours.
  • Content: Integration. Software and system onboarding. Comprehensive product and service training. Phone, email, and chat client management training. On-the-job training and independent content application.
  • Training Allowance: Paid proportionally at €10.00/day (€50.00/week) upon successful completion. (No social security taxes are deducted during training as the formal employment contract is signed at the end).
