Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst to lead financial planning for our SaaS products and cloud costs, and to serve as the FP&A business partner for several G&A functions. You will work closely with FinOps (Product & Technology and IT) and SaaS teams, as well as Finance, Legal and Management leadership, to drive accurate forecasts, cost efficiency and informed investment decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

SaaS & Cloud

  • Own the forecast, budget and long-range plan for cloud hosting and infrastructure costs, linking spend to usage, customer growth and the product roadmap.
  • Partner with P&T, IT FinOps and SaaS teams to analyze cloud consumption, unit costs and cost drivers, and identify optimization opportunities (e.g., commitment coverage, rightsizing, vendor terms).
  • Analyze SaaS gross margin and cost-to-serve, including hosting cost per customer and per product.
  • Build business cases and scenario models to support SaaS pricing, packaging and investment decisions.
  • Partner with Accounting to ensure accurate classification and allocation of cloud and technology costs between COGS and OPEX.

G&A Business Partnering

  • Serve as the FP&A business partner to Finance, Legal and Management, owning headcount and non-headcount budgets, forecasts and long-range plans.
  • Deliver monthly budget-vs-actual reporting and variance analysis to department leaders, highlighting risks and opportunities.
  • Support headcount planning, vendor spend management and cost-efficiency initiatives.

Planning & Reporting

  • Drive monthly and quarterly forecast cycles and contribute to the annual budget, long-range plan, board materials and earnings preparation.
  • Support ad hoc strategic projects, including developing comprehensive financial models to evaluate potential M&A transactions.
  • Build scalable models, dashboards and reports, and continuously improve processes through automation and AI-enabled tools.

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance or a related analytical role, preferably in SaaS / technology company.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience forecasting and analyzing public cloud costs (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and a solid understanding of SaaS business models and unit economics.
  • Proven ability to partner with both technical (engineering, product, IT) and G&A stakeholders.
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; experience with ERP, planning and BI tools.
  • Comfortable working with large, complex data sets (e.g., cloud billing and usage data) and translating them into actionable insights.
  • AI fluency, with hands-on use of generative AI tools to automate workflows and enhance analysis, and sound judgment in validating outputs.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present clear, concise insights to leadership.
  • Excellent written and verbal English.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in a US-listed public company.
  • FinOps certification or familiarity with FinOps practices.
  • CPA, MBA or other advanced degree.job that is used for creating requisitions

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
