CIMMYT está buscando una persona dinámica, responsable y orientada a resultados para ocupar el puesto de Ayudante de Laboratorio GWP, con sede en El Batán, Texcoco, Estado de México, a aproximadamente 45 minutos de la Ciudad de México.

El objetivo del puesto es brindar apoyo en los procesos de laboratorio relacionados con el acondicionamiento, procesamiento y análisis de muestras de trigo. La persona seleccionada colaborará en la preparación y limpieza de muestras, la producción de harina refinada y la realización de análisis de calidad mediante el uso de diferentes equipos y metodologías de laboratorio, siguiendo los procedimientos establecidos y las instrucciones de su supervisor inmediato.

Principales actividades

  • Realizar la limpieza de muestras de trigo.
  • Realizar la molienda de muestras de trigo panificable para la producción de harina refinada.
  • Apoyar en el análisis del contenido de proteína en muestras de trigo mediante tecnología NIR.
  • Apoyar en el análisis del contenido de humedad de la harina mediante tecnología NIR.
  • Apoyar en el análisis de la dureza del grano de trigo mediante el sistema SKCS.
  • Apoyar en la determinación del contenido de gluten mediante la metodología de sedimentación SDS.
  • Apoyar en la determinación de la resistencia, tenacidad y extensibilidad de las masas mediante el alveógrafo Chopin.
  • Apoyar en el análisis del contenido de hierro y zinc en muestras de trigo.
  • Realizar otras actividades relacionadas con el área que le sean asignadas por su supervisor inmediato.

Requirements

  • Escolaridad mínima de secundaria concluida; también podrá considerarse educación primaria con al menos dos años de experiencia relacionada.
  • De uno a tres años de experiencia en actividades de laboratorio, procesamiento de muestras, control de calidad o funciones similares.
  • Conocimientos básicos de los procesos de laboratorio y disposición para seguir procedimientos, rutinas e instrucciones de trabajo.
  • Experiencia o disposición para aprender el manejo de equipos de laboratorio.
  • Capacidad para realizar tareas que requieren precisión, orden y atención al detalle.
  • Habilidades básicas de lectura, escritura y cálculo.
  • Capacidad para comunicarse verbalmente sobre asuntos cotidianos de trabajo y para elaborar reportes breves o completar formatos.
  • Capacidad para trabajar de manera autónoma en actividades rutinarias y solicitar orientación ante situaciones no previstas.
  • Disposición para trabajar bajo supervisión y presentar reportes periódicos de las actividades realizadas.
  • Capacidad para organizar el tiempo y cumplir con las prioridades establecidas por el supervisor.
  • Actitud responsable, colaborativa y orientada al cumplimiento de procedimientos.
