About Clarenza

Clarenza is building the capital markets layer that helps private market investors move faster with more confidence—connecting the right counterparties, surfacing credible deal intelligence, and translating market nuance into decision-ready clarity for investment committees. ## Role Overview

As Head of Capital Markets, you will own Clarenza’s go-to-market motion across private equity, venture, and adjacent private market participants. You’ll leverage a deep personal network of GPs, LPs, and senior deal professionals to initiate high-trust conversations, bypass gatekeepers, and convert market credibility into durable revenue. You will also serve as the “Industry Voice” internally—ensuring product outcomes align with how investment committees evaluate opportunities, risk, and transparency. ## What You’ll Own

  • Build and lead Clarenza’s capital markets strategy across PE, VC, and related private market segments (sourcing, positioning, pipeline, and partnerships).
  • Leverage your network of GPs, LPs, and Managing Directors to open doors, create momentum, and establish Clarenza as a must-have platform.
  • Run senior-level discovery and commercial conversations, translating complex stakeholder needs into clear value propositions and deal terms.
  • Navigate the nuance of “Deal Alpha” vs. LP transparency—positioning Clarenza as a competitive necessity, not just a workflow tool.
  • Develop repeatable playbooks for enterprise sales cycles: qualification, stakeholder mapping, security/compliance narratives, procurement, and close.
  • Partner with leadership to set revenue targets, forecast accurately, and prioritize the highest-leverage market opportunities.
  • Represent Clarenza externally: industry events, private meetings, and strategic introductions that expand brand trust and distribution.
  • Act as the internal voice of the market—bringing investment committee requirements, diligence workflows, and decision criteria into product planning.

What Success Looks Like

  • You establish Clarenza as a credible, trusted counterpart among top-tier GPs and LPs in target geographies.
  • You create a consistent pipeline of high-quality opportunities and convert them into multi-year, referenceable customers.
  • You shorten sales cycles by proactively addressing IC concerns (data provenance, transparency, defensibility, and risk).
  • You help the product team ship features that map directly to how PE/VC firms evaluate, approve, and monitor investments.
  • You build a repeatable capital markets motion that can scale beyond founder-led selling.

Who You Are

  • You have 0–10 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, capital markets, or a closely related role; you can credibly engage senior investors and deal teams.
  • You bring a deep, personal network across GPs, LPs, and senior finance leaders—and you know how to activate it with discretion and trust.
  • You understand investment committee dynamics: what gets approved, what gets killed, and what evidence is required to move forward.
  • You can communicate “alpha” and differentiation without compromising on transparency, governance, or fiduciary expectations.
  • You are commercially sharp: you can run a process, negotiate, and close—while maintaining long-term relationships.
  • You are product-minded and can translate market feedback into clear requirements and prioritization.
  • You operate well in ambiguity, move quickly, and take full ownership of outcomes.
