About Clarenza

Clarenza is building the capital markets layer that helps private market investors move faster with more confidence—connecting the right counterparties, surfacing credible deal intelligence, and translating market nuance into decision-ready clarity for investment committees.

Role Overview

You are a "player-coach" who loves the thrill of the hunt but can also build a strategy. You possess deep domain expertise in either Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) or the Private Equity/Financial verticals. You can comfortably navigate complex procurement processes, speaking fluently with both Investment Officers about "Alpha" and CISOs about efficiencies, value offering AND compliance and certification. This role reports to the Founders.

What You’ll Own

  • Revenue Growth: drive direct sales, managing the full lifecycle from lead generation to closing multi-year enterprise contracts with GPs, LPs, and Fund Administrators.
  • Strategic Navigation: Navigate complex stakeholder maps in financial institutions, bridging the gap between technical buyers (IT/Security) and economic buyers (Investment Committees).
  • Security & Compliance Fluency: Act as the primary advocate for our security posture during sales cycles. You must be able to articulate how our architecture adheres to GDPR, ISO 27001, and SOC 2 standards to alleviate client risk concerns.

Market Feedback: Relay critical regulatory and feature requirements from the market back to the Product and Engineering teams.

Who You Are

  • Domain Expertise: +7-10 years of enterprise sales experience selling IDP, Fintech, or AI solutions specifically to the Private Equity, Investment Banking, or Asset Management verticals.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of Data Privacy laws (GDPR) and security frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2). You know why a "Data Processing Agreement" (DPA) matters and how to negotiate it.
  • Track Record: Proven history of closing six-figure ACV deals with complex sales cycles (6-12 months).
  • Communication: Exceptional ability to translate complex AI concepts (Agentic reasoning, RAG) into business value (Risk reduction, Operational efficiency).
  • Languages: Fluent English at a business negotiation level in both written and spoken.

Location & Working Style

  • Location: International (flexible).
  • This role involves frequent engagement with senior stakeholders across time zones; comfort with travel and high-touch relationship building is important.
