ABOUT THE ROLE

Build the intelligence layer for an AI-powered recruiting marketplace, including the systems that match candidates with relevant roles. You will own recommendation, ranking, and retrieval capabilities from early design through production.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Design and build recommendation, ranking, and retrieval systems for candidate-role matching.

- Develop LLM-powered features and improve matching quality using measurable outcomes.

- Take product features from problem definition to production, shipping at a rapid cadence.

- Build and maintain the data pipelines and backend services that support production models.

- Work with company leadership to translate product goals into working systems.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

- Two to five years of experience building and shipping end-to-end software features in production.

- Production experience with recommendation systems, ranking algorithms, or ML-powered matching.

- Experience shipping ML models or ML-powered products to users, with hands-on work in PyTorch, TensorFlow, or equivalent frameworks.

- Proficiency in TypeScript or Python and experience building production features with LLM APIs.

- Experience maintaining production data pipelines and services, ideally in a fast-moving startup environment.

- Strong computer science fundamentals; React, embeddings, vector search, Supabase, Prisma, Typesense, or workflow automation tools are helpful.

Salary is $130,000 to $170,000 annually, plus competitive founding-hire equity. Visa sponsorship is available for eligible candidates.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.

Do you really apply for me?

Yes, on the employer's own form, the hardest ones included. Where a question needs you, you answer it right there and AI suggests the best answer. Don't want us applying from our IP addresses? Use our Chrome extension: we apply straight from your own browser.

Is it a subscription?

No. You pay once per CV, from $25. Every application goes out with its own CV, written for that posting.
