ABOUT THE ROLE

As the founding full stack engineer at an early-stage AI-enabled ecommerce company, you will own engineering across a consumer membership platform, internal operations, and data infrastructure. You will launch the membership MVP, then lead development of a consumer app and production AI tools.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Build and maintain the membership web application using Shopify and Recharge.

- Improve storefront speed, app performance, and third-party script management.

- Manage tracking, consent tools, and data practices to support privacy compliance.

- Make architecture, security, database, technology stack, and vendor decisions.

- Lead development of an iOS-first React Native consumer app.

- Build and deploy LLM-powered agents with monitoring, evaluations, and human review safeguards.

- Create internal tools and automation that reduce manual work across teams.

- Partner with company leadership to address high-priority product and infrastructure needs.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

- At least 5 years of full stack engineering experience, including shipping consumer products to production.

- Strong TypeScript and React skills, plus production experience with Python or Node.js.

- Hands-on Shopify and Recharge experience and a record of shipping web applications.

- Experience optimizing page speed, bundle size, and third-party integrations.

- Experience building consumer-facing React Native apps, ideally for iOS.

- Sound judgment in architecture, security, databases, and vendor selection.

- Familiarity with privacy requirements such as CPRA or GDPR, and with AI automation tools.

- A relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent demonstrated experience shipping software products.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.

Do you really apply for me?

Yes, on the employer's own form, the hardest ones included. Where a question needs you, you answer it right there and AI suggests the best answer. Don't want us applying from our IP addresses? Use our Chrome extension: we apply straight from your own browser.

Is it a subscription?

No. You pay once per CV, from $25. Every application goes out with its own CV, written for that posting.
