Growth Lead

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a high-trust, early-stage role at a frontier AI infrastructure company building tools for reinforcement learning environments, post-training data, and AI evaluation. You will own recruiting, culture, and community from the ground up, acting as a key connector between the company and the broader AI ecosystem. The role sits at the intersection of talent, marketing, and growth, and will evolve as the company does.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Tell the company's story compellingly to attract candidates, researchers, and key ecosystem players.

- Find, engage, and build relationships with AI engineers, RL researchers, and other high-priority individuals.

- Define company culture and values, and build a structured onboarding process for new hires.

- Own end-to-end recruiting, including building and optimizing systems, tooling, and automated workflows.

- Partner with the Marketing and Events Lead to host and represent the company at community and industry events.

- Collaborate with go-to-market engineers to identify and establish pathways into high-priority leads.

- Create content that supports community engagement and broader marketing efforts.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

- 3 to 8 years of experience in recruiting, community building, GTM, or a closely related role at an early-stage startup.

- Demonstrated track record of owning end-to-end recruiting processes and building recruiting operations, tooling, and automated workflows.

- Experience finding and engaging key individuals in technical communities, whether through recruiting, ecosystem building, or business development.

- Strong network within RL research, RL engineering, or the broader AI and startup communities.

- Ability to understand and explain complex technical products accurately and clearly to non-technical audiences.

- Experience defining company culture and values, and developing new hire onboarding programs.

- Hands-on experience hosting community events and representing a company at industry events.

- Genuine enthusiasm for frontier AI and a clear point of view on how great technical companies communicate their story.

- A portfolio of professional writing samples that demonstrates range and quality.

- Strong interpersonal skills: articulate, extravertd, and perceptive in reading people and situations.

- Comfort working independently in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

- Salary range: $100,000 to $150,000 USD annually.

- Visa sponsorship is available.

LOCATION

On-site in San Francisco, CA. This role requires in-person presence and active local networking.
