ABOUT THE ROLE

Join a small, growing team at an AI-powered recruiting technology startup, introducing its recruiting services to startup founders and hiring leaders. You will lead outbound outreach and book qualified meetings, helping the sales team connect with organizations that have a genuine hiring need.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Call founders and hiring leaders daily, explain the value of the recruiting service, and book meetings when there is a fit.

- Run outreach sequences through email and LinkedIn, and respond promptly to interested prospects.

- Follow up on conversations and information requests, handle objections professionally, and manage reconnections.

- Qualify prospects by learning about hiring needs, timelines, and decision-makers, then confirm meeting next steps.

- Record calls, responses, outcomes, and follow-ups in the CRM, with clear notes for meeting handoffs.

- Use AI and automation tools to reduce repetitive preparation and administrative work.

- Review calls and results with the team, practice objection handling, test messaging, and share prospect feedback.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

- Experience in a customer-facing role with frequent daily conversations, such as SDR or BDR work, appointment setting, inside sales, recruiting sales, call-center work, retail, or door-to-door sales. Early-career candidates with customer-facing experience are welcome.

- Comfort with cold calling and consistent, high-volume outreach, including organizing follow-ups and owning daily activity.

- Clear, concise written and verbal communication, including the ability to speak with founders and hiring managers.

- Coachability and interest in improving through call reviews, feedback, and experimentation.

- Interest in startups, AI, and building a sales career. Familiarity with CRMs and sales dialers is helpful but not required.

- This is an individual contributor role for someone early in their sales career, not a sales management position.

LOCATION

Hybrid, based in Salt Lake City, Utah. The role includes initial in-person onboarding in San Francisco, California, with optional visits to the team headquarters.
