ABOUT THE ROLE

Join a product-focused engineering team building software for energy retailers and businesses offering dynamic electricity plans. You will work directly with customers and take complex energy challenges from discovery through production, helping deliver practical, high-quality products.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Work with customers to understand their needs and use those insights to guide engineering decisions.

- Build and ship end-to-end, full-stack product features from discovery to production.

- Use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate implementation and increase your impact.

- Own new product challenges, including customer payment workflows and portal improvements.

- Help prioritize initiatives, including deciding what to build, defer, or stop.

- Address energy retail needs such as billing, procurement, customer retention, and cost optimization.

- Contribute to engineering culture, tools, and processes, and support team growth.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

- Typically 2 to 13 years of relevant experience, with demonstrated technical ability and shipped work valued over tenure alone.

- Strong full-stack skills and experience delivering products from initial discovery through production.

- Fluency in German at C1 level or above.

- Comfort using AI-assisted development tools, such as Claude Code or Cursor, to improve your work.

- High ownership, sound judgment, and the ability to work effectively in an early-stage environment with ambiguity.

- Experience in, or a strong interest in, energy retail, including billing, procurement, retention, or cost optimization.

- A hands-on individual contributor who is interested in shaping products and engineering practices.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Annual salary range: €80,000 to €120,000. Visa sponsorship is not available.

LOCATION

This is an on-site role in Berlin, Germany, with the team generally working from the office five days per week.
