Clockworks bouwt AI die gewoon werkt. Vanuit Rotterdam ontwikkelen we al meer dan tien jaar schaalbare, robuuste oplossingen voor industriële en logistieke omgevingen. Wij regelen de complexe techniek, zodat klanten een simpele en betrouwbare ervaring krijgen.

We zetten ingewikkelde, handmatige processen om in slimme, robuuste automatisering.

Daarbij maken we AI die in de praktijk werkt: van computer vision en klassieke machine learning tot LLMs en GenAI. Waar nodig verwerken we uiteenlopende datastromen, zoals pixels, LiDAR, RFID, tijdreeksen en ongestructureerde tekst, en kiezen we pragmatisch de technologie die het meeste waarde levert.

Onze oplossingen draaien vaak in omgevingen waar stabiliteit, performance en gebruiksgemak cruciaal zijn. We combineren daarbij diepe AI-expertise met sterke software-engineeringprincipes en leveren productieklare AI-oplossingen.

Wij zijn de mensen die onder de motorkap de technische uurwerken in elkaar zetten, zodat gebruikers aan de voorkant een eenvoudige, betrouwbare en waardevolle ervaring krijgen.

Jouw rol

Als AI Consultant verbind je strategie en uitvoering. Je vertaalt vage klantvragen naar concrete AI-use cases, onderbouwde businesscases en een uitvoerbare oplossingsrichting. Je bent het eerste aanspreekpunt voor klanten die “iets met AI willen doen”, en helpt hen om dat “iets” te vertalen naar waarde, haalbaarheid en resultaat.

Je opereert op het snijvlak van business en technologie. Je begrijpt de inhoud van AI, maar je denkt in termen van toepassing, business case en implementatie. Je adviseert, schrijft voorstellen, onderbouwt investeringen en werkt samen met je team aan de uitvoering.

Je hoeft niet dagelijks te programmeren, maar wél te weten wat er technisch speelt — zodat je realistische, overtuigende en werkbare oplossingen kunt ontwerpen.

Verantwoordelijkheden

Als AI Consultant:

  • Leid je sessies met (potentiele) klanten waarin je businessproblemen scherpstelt en AI-oplossingen definieert.
  • Ontwikkel je use cases en MVP-voorstellen inclusief waardepropositie, KPI’s, kosten en impact.
  • Werk je samen met engineers om een realistisch deliveryplan en architectuur te ontwikkelen.
  • Schrijf je overtuigende proposities en offertes die inhoudelijk en commercieel sterk zijn.
  • Begeleid je projecten tot de eerste oplevering en bewaak je klanttevredenheid.
  • Denk je strategisch mee over productpositionering en herbruikbare AI-concepten binnen Clockworks.

Wat we zoeken

Onze ideale kandidaat:

  • Heeft 3–7 jaar ervaring in AI, data science, of technology consulting.
  • Combineert inhoudelijke kennis van AI (machine learning, computer vision, generatieve AI) met sterke communicatieve en commerciële vaardigheden.
  • Begrijpt de technische basis (Python, notebooks, cloud, MLOps), maar voelt zich thuis in gesprekken over waarde, strategie en implementatie.
  • Heeft ervaring met het schrijven van voorstellen, business cases of conceptdocumenten.
  • Is ondernemend, nieuwsgierig, energiek en empathisch – iemand die vertrouwen wekt en initiatief neemt.
  • Beheerst Nederlands en Engels uitstekend.
