You are sitting at a kitchen table with a homeowner who has a problem she has been living with for years. She has tried the container store. She has tried reorganizing. Nothing has worked because the space itself is the problem, not how she uses it.
Your job is to diagnose that, specifically and personally. Then you design something built for her. A solution that changes how her mornings work, how her home feels, what she stops thinking about every day. What we build is permanent, custom and backed for life.

The work does not stop with understanding the problem. The homeowner who has invited us into their home will hesitate. Your job is to understand what is really behind the hesitation, and help her get to a decision. That part of the work is uncomfortable. The designers who succeed here are the ones that discomfort makes sharper, not smaller.
Your Day
You design a custom solution using our software, present the solution and the price, and close. Homeowners push back. They want to compare. They want to wait. You stay in the conversation until there is a clear decision. Most people avoid that moment. You sit in it.
Your calendar is filled with company generated leads. No cold calling. No prospecting. You work from home, in client homes, and in our office. This is a performance role with a flexible structure built for someone who manages their own time well.
What We Provide
Online university with extensive catalog. Five days of onboarding are composed of three days of training and two days of supervised practice. Your first appointment is held shortly after training completes.
Weekly office hours ensure you are in front of leadership and the team. A weekly sales meeting focused on your continued development and sharpening the process as a team. National meetings happen twice a month. A structured, proven process and a collegial team that takes the work seriously.

What You Earn
For the right person, this is not a job. It is a scoreboard. 100% commission. 10% of every sale. No cap. Monthly and annual performance bonuses. A designer running a consistent schedule earns $85,000 to $135,000 annually. The math is simple, transparent and we walk through it together when we meet.
Who This Is For
If difficult conversations make you better, not smaller, this role fits.
You have at least two years of sales experience in any consultative or relationship driven environment. You ask good questions. You listen before you solve. You are comfortable with silence when someone is thinking.
You have closed before. You value your own time and make each appointment count. You run a process, not a personality. You bring the same discipline to a slow week as a strong one. You track your own numbers because you are competing with yourself, not because someone told you to. You do not fold when the room gets uncomfortable. You have heard "I need to think about it" and stayed in the chair. You know the difference between being pushy and being direct, and you are not afraid of either the silence after you ask for the sale or the answer that comes back. You are looking for a place where doing the work well actually pays.
Design, home improvement, interior design, kitchen and bath, furniture, or real estate experience is a plus though not required. You have a Windows laptop, reliable transportation, and availability for appointments some evenings and Saturdays. You are located in Houston.
