The Work You sit at a kitchen table with a homeowner who has lived with a problem for years. She has tried the plastic containers and drawers that offer so much promise and so little in practice. She has tried reorganizing. Nothing worked because the space is the problem, not how she uses it. Your job is to understand her, design the solution, present the price, and close.

She will hesitate. She will want to compare. She will want to think about it. You stay in the chair. Most people avoid that moment. You sit in it.

Who This Is For You have at least two years of sales experience in a consultative or relationship driven environment. You have closed before. You ask good questions and listen before you solve. You are comfortable with silence when someone is thinking.

You know what you want to earn in year one. You have a plan for how you will earn it. You have the runway to work through a six to twelve month ramp. You treat money as a score, not a rescue.

You run a process, not a personality. You bring the same discipline to a slow week as a strong one. When someone shows you a better way, you try it in the next appointment. Not eventually. You track your own numbers because you compete with yourself.

You do not fold when the room gets uncomfortable. You have heard "I need to think about it" and stayed in the chair. You know the difference between being pushy and being direct, and you are not afraid of either.
