Welcome to Warner Bros. Discovery… the stuff dreams are made of.

Who We Are…

When we say, “the stuff dreams are made of,” we’re not just referring to the world of wizards, dragons and superheroes, or even to the wonders of Planet Earth. Behind WBD’s vast portfolio of iconic content and beloved brands, are the storytellers bringing our characters to life, the creators bringing them to your living rooms and the dreamers creating what’s next…

From brilliant creatives, to technology trailblazers, across the globe, WBD offers career defining opportunities, thoughtfully curated benefits, and the tools to explore and grow into your best selves. Here you are supported, here you are celebrated, here you can thrive.

Your Role

Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences is seeking a commercially driven Manager, Retail Marketing to lead integrated marketing programs for its growing Americas retail portfolio, including existing flagship stores, new locations and retail opportunities connected to WBD experiences.

The Manager will develop retail marketing plans that drive qualified footfall, customer engagement, conversion, average transaction value, units per transaction and repeat visitation. This role will connect product and franchise storytelling with seasonal campaigns, local-market activation, CRM, social, partnerships and in-store execution, while partnering closely with Retail Operations, Merchandising, Product, Franchise, Creative and broader marketing teams.

The ideal candidate combines strong retail commercial instincts with integrated marketing and project-management experience, and knows how to turn fan insight, merchandising priorities and local demand into measurable store performance.

Your Role Accountabilities

  • Develop integrated marketing plans for individual stores and the broader Americas retail portfolio, aligned to sales targets, store traffic, seasonal demand, local-market opportunities and franchise priorities.
  • Drive qualified footfall and customer acquisition through coordinated social, digital, CRM, local search, partnerships, PR support, out-of-home and WBD owned promotional channels.
  • Partner with Growth Insights, Retail Operations and Finance to monitor traffic, conversion, average transaction value, units per transaction, sales mix, campaign response and repeat-customer indicators.
  • Identify performance gaps and recommend targeted actions to increase awareness, improve conversion, grow customer spend and strengthen store-level revenue.
  • Own the retail marketing and promotional calendar, coordinating product launches, exclusives, new assortments, gifting moments, seasonal campaigns and inventory-led commercial priorities.
  • Partner with Merchandising, Product and Franchise teams to translate product stories, fan relevance and assortment priorities into compelling campaigns and customer-facing messaging.
  • Develop promotional approaches that balance revenue opportunity, premium brand positioning, margin considerations, inventory availability and an exceptional fan experience.
  • Coordinate campaign briefs, creative needs, offer mechanics, signage, launch timing and performance reviews with store teams and central marketing stakeholders.
  • Develop and execute go-to-market plans for new store openings, relocations, pop-ups and significant retail refreshes, including launch milestones, audience strategy and post-opening optimization.
  • Build market-specific programs that engage locals, tourists, fan communities, nearby experiences, hotels, tourism organizations and relevant neighborhood or commercial partners.
  • Create in-store events, product moments, creator activations and cross-promotions that strengthen discovery, generate content and give customers new reasons to visit.
  • Partner with Retail Operations and on-site teams to ensure campaigns translate into consistent, well-executed customer experiences and appropriate store readiness.
  • Partner with broader Marketing team to build retail-relevant customer journeys, segmented email campaigns, first-party data capture and repeat-visit communications.
  • Identify opportunities to connect retail customers with experiences and experience guests with retail, including bundled storytelling, cross-promotion and shared fan-audience development.
  • Use customer insights, purchase patterns, local-versus-tourist behavior and franchise affinities to tailor communications, promotions and product recommendations.
  • Support responsible customer-data acquisition and use in accordance with WBD privacy, consent and governance requirements.
  • Partner with Creative & Brand to develop effective store campaigns, product storytelling, social content, in-store materials and other customer-facing assets.
  • Coordinate agency, vendor, franchise, publicity and partner contributions to retail programs, maintaining clear briefs, timelines, approved budgets and execution accountability.
  • Establish campaign measurement and post-launch reviews with Growth Insights to evaluate incremental traffic, conversion, customer response and commercial return.
  • Document scalable playbooks for store launches, product campaigns, seasonal promotions and local activation that can support future portfolio expansion.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 5-8 years of relevant experience in retail marketing, consumer marketing, shopper marketing, merchandising marketing, local-store marketing or integrated brand marketing.
  • Proven experience developing campaigns that drive store traffic, product engagement, conversion, average transaction value or customer retention.
  • Strong understanding of retail commercial metrics, promotional planning, merchandising priorities, seasonal demand and the in-store customer journey.
  • Experience supporting store openings, product launches, local-market activations, experiential events or multi-location retail programs.
  • Ability to develop integrated plans spanning digital, social, CRM, partnerships, publicity, local discovery and in-store marketing.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder collaboration skills, with experience partnering across Retail Operations, Merchandising, Product, Creative, Franchise and agency teams.
  • Experience with premium retail, entertainment franchises, tourism-driven locations, attractions, licensed consumer products or fan-oriented brands strongly preferred.
  • Thinks like a retailer and a marketer, connecting fan engagement to store traffic, conversion and profitable growth.
  • Anticipates operational and merchandising needs while maintaining a premium, customer-first brand experience.
  • Brings energy, organization and accountability to launches, product moments and local-market opportunities.
  • Collaborates effectively across central marketing and store teams and adapts plans to changing business conditions.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
