About Coastal Waste & Recycling
At Coastal Waste & Recycling, we're building more than a company, we're building a team. As one of the fastest-growing privately held waste and recycling companies in the Southeast, we're looking for people who take pride in their work, put safety first, and are ready to grow with us.
Business Analyst | Boca Raton, FL
Coastal Waste & Recycling is looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join our growing team in Boca Raton.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys sitting at the intersection of business and technology—understanding how the business operates, identifying opportunities to improve processes, and translating those needs into practical technology solutions.
You’ll partner closely with business leaders, IT teams, vendors, and implementation partners to support initiatives from initial discovery and requirements gathering through testing, implementation, and continuous improvement.
What You’ll Do
- Partner with stakeholders across the business to understand needs, challenges, and opportunities.
- Translate business needs into clear requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, workflows, and process maps.
- Serve as a bridge between business users and technical teams.
- Map current and future-state processes and identify opportunities for automation and operational improvement.
- Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), issue tracking, validation, and stakeholder sign-off.
- Support enterprise technology implementations, integrations, deployments, and post-launch improvements.
- Help prioritize initiatives based on business value, risk, dependencies, and effort.
- Keep projects moving by proactively identifying issues, resolving ambiguity, and driving deliverables to completion.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of Business Analyst experience in a fast-paced or operationally complex environment.
- Strong experience gathering requirements and translating between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with process mapping, user stories, acceptance criteria, UAT, and system implementations.
- Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and comfortably wear multiple hats.
- Experience working with developers, enterprise applications, infrastructure, data teams, vendors, or other technical resources.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Must be able to work primarily on-site in Boca Raton, FL.
Experience with ERP, CRM, HRIS, finance, operations, data/analytics platforms, Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Azure DevOps, GitHub Enterprise, or Agile delivery is a plus. Experience in waste & recycling, logistics, transportation, field services, or another multi-site operational environment is also highly valued.
Why Coastal?
We’re a fast-growing organization where technology is increasingly central to how we scale. This is an opportunity to work directly with business and technology leaders, solve meaningful operational challenges, and help shape solutions that have a visible impact across the organization.
