About CodeRoad

CodeRoad provides end-to-end software development services, helping businesses scale with ideal infrastructure solutions. From staff augmentation to dedicated IT teams and general software engineering, our nearshore technology services empower businesses to thrive in an ever-evolving digital landscape.

About the Role

As a Senior Frontend Engineer (Level 3), you will serve as a subject matter expert and the technical backbone for frontend architecture within your POD. Shifting the focus from simple task execution to complete architectural ownership, you will design, build, and anchor scalable state management systems and component patterns using React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS. You will solve complex technical challenges, optimize build pipelines using Vite, and establish robust frontend patterns across the ecosystem.

This role is critical to driving high-impact product outcomes, maintaining frontend platform stability, and elevating overall engineering quality. As a highly autonomous individual contributor, you will champion technical best practices—such as TDD, Design Systems, and Atomic Design—while providing structured mentorship to Junior (L1) and Intermediate (L2) engineers to accelerate their technical growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable frontend architecture, component patterns, and state management strategies using React (Hooks, Context API, Redux/Zustand) and TypeScript.
  • Build and own the end-to-end lifecycle of complex frontend features, driving delivery from initial design requirements to production deployment and validation.
  • Optimize application performance, accessibility standards, and SEO requirements while maintaining an efficient Vite build pipeline.
  • Lead architectural code reviews, enforcing Clean Code principles and providing insightful feedback to raise the engineering bar across the team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to proactively identify, document, and resolve technical debt to ensure high system velocity and reliability.
  • Anchor structured mentorship initiatives for L1 and L2 engineers through pair programming, technical documentation, and clear career-path guidance.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience in frontend development within Agile environments.
  • Deep proficiency in React, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and modern build tooling such as Vite.
  • Strong understanding of browser internals, web performance optimization, CI/CD, and modern Git workflows.
  • Demonstrated portfolio showing full architectural ownership of complex, web-scale React applications.
  • Ownership mindset: Ability to turn vague requirements into high-quality technical realities with high autonomy.
  • Mandatory Advanced English (written and spoken) to articulate technical trade-offs to international stakeholders.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with server-side rendering (SSR) frameworks such as Next.js or Remix.
  • Familiarity with micro-frontend architectures and monorepo management tooling (Turborepo, Nx).
  • Hands-on testing experience with modern frameworks like Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted software development practices or RAG application frontend integrations.

  • 100% Remote
  • Holidays off
  • Paid Time Off

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
