Administrative Support Assistant

Location: Bloomfield Hills, MI

Position Type: Temporary with Potential for Full-Time

Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM (40-hour work week)

Remote Work: 4 days onsite / 1 day remote (after an introductory period)

Position Summary:

We are seeking an Administrative Support Assistant to support our litigation group. This role is crucial to the smooth functioning of the team and offers a unique opportunity to grow within one of the firm's biggest offices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the litigation group.
  • Manage and organize legal documents and correspondence.
  • Assist with scheduling and coordinating meetings and appointments.
  • Handle client communication and follow-ups.
  • Perform data entry and maintain case files.
  • Support the team with various clerical duties as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of legal experience required.
  • Some experience in litigation is helpful.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research software.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Desire to grow and advance in a legal career.
