ColonialWebb is seeking a motivated Service Electrician to maintain, diagnose, and repair essential electrical systems and components for mission critical sites located in the greater Richmond, Virginia area. A day in the life:
- Put safety first by following company procedures, OSHA requirements, and the National Electrical Code on every job.
- Diagnose electrical problems using testing equipment, blueprints, and technical diagrams.
- Repair, replace, install, and maintain wiring, control panels, lighting systems, receptacles, fixtures, transformers, circuit breakers, and related equipment.
- Provide professional, responsive service while communicating clearly with customers, teammates, and supervisors.
- Take ownership of your work by keeping your tools, workspace, appearance, and completed work clean, organized, and up to standard.
You should have:
- Journeyman level experience in service, repair, installation, wiring, controls, and lighting systems.
- Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code, applicable local codes, and OSHA safety regulations.
- Ability to independently diagnose and repair electrical problems using testing equipment, blueprints, and technical diagrams.
- Availability to work night and weekend shifts as needed.
- Electrical journeyman license, or equivalent credentials as required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Clean driving record and ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
