Bij Comtest Engineering zoeken we een Technical Consultant die techniek en relatiebeheer moeiteloos met elkaar verbindt. Iemand die scherp luistert, de juiste vragen stelt en klanten helpt bij het maken van een doordachte technische keuze. Je verkoopt bij ons geen standaardproduct uit een catalogus, maar denkt mee over EMC test chambers, antenna test chambers, RF-shielded rooms, upgrades en service-oplossingen. Juist dat samenspel van techniek, commercieel inzicht en vertrouwen opbouwen maakt deze rol zo interessant.

Wat ga je doen?

Als Technical Consultant ben jij voor klanten het eerste inhoudelijke aanspreekpunt in het commerciële traject. Je spreekt met klanten en prospects over hun testomgeving, hun technische eisen en de vraag achter de vraag. Op basis daarvan vertaal je hun behoefte naar een passende oplossing binnen het portfolio van Comtest Engineering. Soms gaat het om een standaardoplossing, vaak ook om maatwerk. Jij weet wanneer je zelf verder kunt en wanneer je collega’s uit engineering, R&D, projectmanagement of operations moet aanhaken om samen tot de beste oplossing te komen.

Je begeleidt het traject van leadkwalificatie tot offerte, onderhandelingen en overdracht naar de interne organisatie. Daarbij blijf je niet op afstand, maar houd je grip op de voortgang en het contact met de klant. Je bouwt verder op bestaande accounts, ziet commerciële kansen in onderhoud, upgrades en aanvullende testoplossingen en zorgt dat klanten Comtest ervaren als een deskundige en betrouwbare partner. Ook bezoek je klanten, neem je deel aan internationale beurzen en draag je bij aan langdurige relaties in met name Europa.

Wat verwachten we van jou?

  • Je hebt een afgeronde hbo- of wo-opleiding in een technische richting, zoals elektrotechniek of technische bedrijfskunde,
  • Je beschikt over ruime ervaring in een technisch‑commerciële of consultatieve rol waarin je klantvragen weet te vertalen naar passende technische oplossingen.
  • Je bent gewend om klantvragen te vertalen naar een technische oplossing, kunt hoofd- en bijzaken goed scheiden en voelt je prettig in een omgeving waarin maatwerk, offertevorming en afstemming met verschillende disciplines belangrijk zijn.
  • Je beheersing van het Engels en Nederlands in woord en geschrift is uitstekend en extra talen zijn mooi meegenomen.
  • Kennis van EMC, RF‑testoplossingen of technische projectomgevingen is een sterke pre.
  • Daarnaast ben je zelfstandig, zorgvuldig, nieuwsgierig en bereid om internationaal te reizen voor klantbezoeken en beurzen.
