Als ServiceNow Specialist – ITOM & CMDB übernimmst du bei uns die fachliche Verantwortung für eine belastbare, hochwertige CMDB und den Ausbau unserer ITOM-Fähigkeiten. Du sorgst dafür, dass unsere Configuration-Daten verlässlich sind, Discovery und Service Mapping sauber funktionieren und die CMDB zur vertrauenswürdigen Grundlage für zentrale ITIL-Prozesse wird. Dabei arbeitest du eng mit Fachbereichen und Prozessverantwortlichen zusammen, setzt Standards und treibst die Plattform technisch voran – von der Konzeption bis zum stabilen Betrieb.

Dein Profil

  • Mindestens 3 Jahre einschlägige Berufs- und Projekterfahrung im ServiceNow-ITOM/CMDB-Umfeld
  • Nachweisbare Erfahrung aus mehreren Projekten im CMDB-Management (Datenmodellierung, CSDM, IRE, CMDB Health)
  • Vertiefte Praxiskenntnisse in ITOM: Discovery, Service Mapping und Event Management
  • Fundiertes Verständnis für CI-Datenqualität, Reconciliation und Governance auf Enterprise-Niveau
  • Sicherer Umgang mit MID Server, Credentials und Discovery-Patterns, inkl. Troubleshooting
  • Solide ServiceNow-Entwicklungskenntnisse (JavaScript, Glide API) für Anpassungen und Integrationen
  • Gutes Verständnis der ITIL-Prozesse, die auf der CMDB aufsetzen (Change, Incident, Asset)
  • Erfahrung in der eigenständigen Steuerung von Themen bzw. Teilprojekten
  • Analytische, strukturierte Arbeitsweise und ausgeprägtes Datenqualitätsbewusstsein
  • Deutsch und Englisch (mind. gute Kenntnisse)
  • Von Vorteil: Zertifizierungen (CIS-Discovery, CIS-Event Management, CIS-Service Mapping, CSA)
  • Fachliche Verantwortung für Aufbau, Pflege und Governance der CMDB: Datenmodell nach CSDM (CI-Klassen, Beziehungen, Service-Mapping-Strukturen), CI-Lifecycle und Ownership
  • Sicherstellung der Datenqualität: Identification & Reconciliation Engine (IRE), Reconciliation-Regeln, Duplikat-Handling, CMDB Health Dashboards und nachhaltige Verbesserung der Health Scores
  • Konzeption und Betrieb von ITOM Discovery: MID Server, Discovery Schedules, Credentials, Pattern-Anpassungen und Troubleshooting komplexer Discovery-Szenarien
  • Service Mapping: Modellierung von Application Services (Top-down/Tag-based), Pflege von Entry Points und Abhängigkeiten
  • Definition von Standards, Namenskonventionen und Governance-Prozessen für die CMDB sowie deren Durchsetzung im Betrieb
  • Technische Leitung im ITOM-Umfeld: Weiterentwicklung der Plattform (Flows, Business Rules, Script Includes, Transform Maps), Integration von Drittsystemen über REST/SOAP und MID Server
  • Beratung von Fachbereichen und Prozessverantwortlichen (Change, Incident, Asset), fachliches Sparring für Kolleg:innen sowie Wissenstransfer und Dokumentation
