Hiring Area: Gurnee, IL and surrounding communities Work Location: Lindenhurst, IL Schedule: Friday–Monday | 8:00 AM–8:00 PM | 12-hour shifts

Open Arms Solutions is seeking a compassionate, reliable, and experienced Caregiver to provide quality care and support to seniors in a senior living community in Lindenhurst, IL.

We are actively recruiting caregivers who live in Gurnee and nearby communities and are looking for a consistent Friday–Monday schedule with 12-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate companionship and support to senior clients
  • Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and personal care
  • Assist with showering, bathing, dressing, grooming, and other personal care needs
  • Assist with mobility, transfers, and safe ambulation
  • Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping
  • Provide medication reminders as directed by the care plan
  • Follow each client's care plan and safety guidelines
  • Monitor and communicate changes in the client's condition or needs
  • Maintain a safe, clean, comfortable, and respectful environment

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of recent professional caregiving experience
  • Previous live-in or extended-shift caregiving experience preferred
  • Compassionate, patient, dependable, and professional
  • Comfortable providing hands-on personal care
  • Able to commit to a consistent Friday–Monday schedule
  • Reliable transportation to the Lindenhurst work location
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
