Location: Northbrook, IL 60062 Schedule: 12-hour shifts

Open Arms Solutions is looking for compassionate, dependable In-Home Caregivers to provide one-on-one care and support to a client in Northbrook. We have day and overnight 12-hour shifts available, making this a great opportunity for caregivers looking for longer, consistent shifts.

Available Shifts

  • Day Shift: 7:30 AM – 7:30 PM
  • Overnight Shift: 7:30 PM – 7:30 AM

What You’ll Do

  • Provide compassionate one-on-one care and companionship
  • Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and personal care
  • Assist with mobility, transfers, and safe ambulation
  • Prepare meals and provide light housekeeping
  • Provide medication reminders as directed
  • Follow the client’s care plan and safety guidelines
  • Monitor and communicate changes in the client’s needs
  • Maintain a safe, comfortable, and respectful home environment

What We’re Looking For

  • At least 1 year of recent professional caregiving experience
  • Compassionate, patient, and dependable
  • Comfortable providing hands-on personal care and assistance with ADLs
  • Able to commit to a consistent 12-hour shift
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliable transportation
  • Valid driver’s license, personal vehicle, and current auto insurance may be required depending on the assignment
