The posting

The Analyst XFN (REMIR & Executive Protection) at Nubank’s Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) is a cross-functional role responsible for supporting both Risk Event Monitoring & Incident Response (REMIR) and Executive Protection (EP) operations. This professional acts as a key connector between operational monitoring, crisis response, and executive protection logistics, ensuring that all activities are executed with precision, discretion, and adherence to Nubank’s safety standards. The role requires a proactive mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure while coordinating between multiple stakeholders and time-sensitive missions. The analyst will monitor risk events in real time, support executive movements, and ensure that critical information is communicated accurately to the right teams, at the right time.

Role tasks and responsibilities

REMIR (Risk Event Monitoring & Incident Response)

  • Monitor real-time events that may impact operations, employees, or executives, ensure rapid assessment and escalation when required.
  • Draft and distribute alerts, notifications, and Situational Reports (SARs) through established communication channels, including Everbridge.
  • Coordinate with Facilities, Safety, and external emergency services during incidents to ensure an effective and aligned response.
  • Collect, validate, and analyze critical information from multiple sources, filtering noise and ensuring the accuracy of reports shared with GSOC leadership.
  • Support crisis management activities, including post-incident reporting and After-Action Reviews (AARs).

Executive Protection (EP)

  • Support the planning, monitoring, and execution of executive travel, events, and daily operations.
  • Monitor flight schedules, itineraries, and travel routes in real time, identifying potential disruptions, delays, or security concerns.
  • Conduct OSINT research to identify potential threats or risks affecting executive travel and activities.
  • Coordinate with vendors, drivers, and Executive Protection personnel to ensure operational readiness and seamless execution.
  • Provide real-time situational awareness and maintain continuous communication between GSOC and Executive Protection teams during missions.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of Executive Protection activities, including briefings, logistics records, and post-mission summaries.

Cross-Functional Support

  • Serve as a communication link between REMIR, Executive Protection, and other Corporate Security functions.
  • Collaborate with Strategic and Tactical Intelligence teams to ensure executive missions and crisis responses are supported by relevant intelligence insights.
  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of SOPs, playbooks, and communication protocols across REMIR and Executive Protection operations.
  • Support the Documentation and Quality Assurance Lead in maintaining process consistency and capturing lessons learned for ongoing operational improvement.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in International Relations, Security Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Fluency in Portuguese and English; advanced Spanish is highly desirable.
  • Experience in security operations, crisis management, or executive protection support.
  • Familiarity with incident response tools (e.g., Everbridge), CCTV platforms, and access control systems.
  • Knowledge of OSINT methodologies and the ability to assess open-source data for risk identification.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and multitasking skills in high-pressure environments.
  • Proven attention to detail, discretion, and ability to handle sensitive information.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience working in corporate GSOCs or similar 24/7 operational environments.
  • Knowledge of risk assessment frameworks and executive security best practices.
  • Strong analytical skills and familiarity with reporting and visualization tools (Power BI, Looker Studio, etc.).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and make informed decisions during time-critical events.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
