Summary: The Cosm Engineering team develops technology to deliver best-in-class experiences in our digital and live-streaming products. We are looking for a talented QA Engineer to help ensure the quality and user experience across various platforms. We expect our engineers to be versatile, display leadership qualities, and be enthusiastic when taking on new problems across the full stack as we continue to push the technology forward. The ideal candidate will be closely working with technical and business teams to plan, develop and maintain tests and to develop best practices. You will work in an energetic and highly creative environment with a group of highly talented, passionate, and successful individuals. Responsibilities:

Participate in sprint planning and backlog grooming to provide QA input early in the development process. Design, create, and maintain test plans and test cases covering new features and regression coverage. Execute functional, regression, exploratory, and smoke/sanity testing across one or more product components and/or features. Validate that functionality of digital and physical products meets requirements. Perform smoke and regression testing ahead of releases to support release readiness and sign-off. Write detailed, clear bug reports for defects found during testing and track them through resolution. Collaborate closely with a cross-disciplinary team (Design, Product, and Engineering) throughout the development lifecycle. Identify potential risks and issues that may impact quality and user experience, and communicate them proactively. Contribute to and help evolve QA best practices and processes as the team scales.

Experience:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 3-5 years of relevant QA experience. Solid working knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and software testing lifecycle (STLC). Experience with core testing types, including functional, regression, exploratory, and smoke/sanity testing. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Experience testing mobile and web applications, including API testing. Experience with tools such as Postman, proxies (e.g., Charles Proxy), and browser developer toolbars. Experience with JIRA and Github. Strong experience writing clear test cases, test plans, and QA documentation. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to organize and prioritize individual workload to meet required deadlines

Preferred Experience:

Exposure to test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright. Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or CircleCI and how automated tests fit into a pipeline. Experience with cross-browser/device testing platforms such as BrowserStack or Sauce Labs. Experience with test case management tools such as TestRail or Xray. Experience using AI-assisted tools to support test case generation, bug triage, or other QA workflows.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
