The posting

The National is hiring for an AM Prep Cook. You should join our team if you believe... That great food starts with great preparation, organization, and attention to detail. That the kitchen plays an essential role in creating memorable guest experiences. That fresh ingredients, proper preparation, and consistent execution are the foundation of every great dish. That cleanliness, food safety, and organization are just as important as the food being prepared. Those great Curators work together, communicate openly, and support one another to keep the kitchen running smoothly. That taking pride in the details behind the scenes helps create unmatched moments for every guest.   You’re a great fit for this role if you love... Following daily production lists and preparing ingredients for the Curator Café menu with accuracy and efficiency. Setting up, maintaining, and breaking down your workstation throughout the shift. Preparing and handling food according to established recipes, procedures, quality standards, and sanitation requirements. Keeping workstations, equipment, tools, storage areas, and floors clean, organized, and properly sanitized. Maintaining proper food temperatures, product rotation, storage, cooling, and handling procedures. Working safely and efficiently with knives, kitchen equipment, and other food preparation tools. Monitoring waste and helping maintain food cost through proper preparation, portioning, storage, and product usage. Communicating maintenance concerns, supply needs, or other issues to your supervisor as they arise. Supporting the kitchen team wherever needed and stepping in to help keep production moving during busy periods. Training and supporting fellow Curators on proper food preparation, safety, sanitation, and kitchen procedures. Working independently, showing initiative, and finding ways to keep things moving without always needing to be asked. Responding professionally to questions and requests from guests, fellow Curators, and leadership. Taking pride in the behind-the-scenes preparation that helps every guest experience start with something delicious.   We’re excited to have you join us because... You understand that preparation is the foundation of a successful kitchen. You can balance speed, quality, cleanliness, and food safety in a fast-paced environment. You have strong knife skills and are comfortable safely operating kitchen equipment. You are organized, dependable, and able to follow both verbal and written instructions. You have an eye for detail and understand the importance of consistency in food preparation. You can adapt to changing business levels, staffing needs, and priorities. You work well independently while also being a supportive and collaborative team member. You are willing to jump in wherever needed and take initiative to get things done. You understand that maintaining quality and sanitation standards is important no matter how busy the kitchen becomes. You bring a positive, service-focused attitude to every shift and believe that leadership isn't always about a title—it's about being someone your team can count on.   Education and Experience Previous food preparation or kitchen experience preferred. Previous restaurant, hotel, resort, or hospitality experience preferred. Knowledge of basic food preparation, kitchen sanitation, and food safety practices. Good and safe knife-handling and kitchen equipment skills. Ability to follow recipes, production lists, verbal instructions, and written procedures. Ability to learn and retain a large amount of information in a short period of time. Ability to use good judgment, initiative, and teamwork. Ability to maintain food quality and sanitation standards regardless of business or staffing levels. Ability to adapt to changing situations, procedures, priorities, and staffing needs. Ability to maintain effective working relationships with fellow Curators, Supervisors, and other departments. Must maintain regular attendance and punctuality and report to work in a clean, complete uniform and ready to work. May be required to work nights, weekends, holidays, and/or overtime based on business needs.   Work Environment and Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time, generally 6 hours or more per shift. Ability to frequently stoop, squat, kneel, bend, reach, and twist. Ability to push, pull, lift, and carry items weighing from 0 to 50+ pounds, including carts, pans, trays, ingredients, and kitchen supplies. Ability to work in varying temperatures, including hot kitchen environments, steam, refrigerators, and freezers. Ability to perform frequent repetitive motions throughout the shift. May be exposed to potential burns, cuts, slips, and other hazards associated with a commercial kitchen environment. Ability to safely use cleaning chemicals, knives, kitchen equipment, and other tools according to established procedures. Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment throughout the shift.   Here’s the Core of Coury Hospitality: We have a place for you on our team if your passion is to curate UNMATCHED MOMENTS. Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
