The posting

The National is hiring for a Valet Captain. You should join our team if you believe...

That exceptional guest service begins the moment a guest arrives at the front drive. That a smooth, organized, and professional valet operation sets the tone for the entire guest experience. That great leaders support their teams, communicate clearly, and lead by example. That every vehicle, key, guest interaction, and operational detail deserves care and attention. That teamwork and accountability are essential to maintaining a successful valet operation. That every arrival and departure is an opportunity to create an UNMATCHED MOMENT.

You’re a great fit for this role if you love...

Supporting the Valet Manager and Director of Operations with the daily execution of the valet operation. Providing direction, support, and coaching to Valet Curators throughout each shift. Ensuring the valet lane is organized and operating efficiently, with vehicles pulled to the front promptly. Maintaining proper rotation among Curators who are parking and retrieving vehicles. Reviewing the Flash Valet system to ensure Curators are signed in and vehicles are accurately marked as parked and pulled. Completing daily key and garage audits to ensure keys are properly managed and vehicles are parked and ticketed correctly. Issuing key tags to new apartment residents and maintaining organized key-handling procedures. Ensuring guest vehicles are handled, parked, and retrieved with the utmost care. Checking that valet tools, equipment, technology, luggage tags, valet tags, and other supplies are clean, secure, charged, and ready for each shift. Reviewing radio logs and ensuring radios are properly signed in and out and accounted for at the beginning and end of each shift. Maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming front drive by picking up trash, restocking water, and keeping the valet stand orderly. Communicating operational concerns, maintenance needs, safety issues, or supply shortages to leadership. Responding to guest questions and concerns promptly, professionally, and with genuine care. Supporting the team during busy periods and stepping in wherever needed to keep the operation moving. Helping create a positive team environment through clear communication, coaching, and leading by example.

We’re excited to have you join us because...

You understand that valet is often the first and last impression a guest has of the property. You have previous valet or professional parking experience and understand the importance of safe and efficient vehicle handling. You are approachable and comfortable providing direction and coaching to fellow Curators. You can remain calm, professional, and solution-oriented when handling guest concerns or operational challenges. You are highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities during a busy shift. You communicate clearly and professionally with guests, Curators, managers, and other departments. You take initiative and actively look for ways to improve the valet operation. You encourage teamwork, open communication, and a positive work environment. You demonstrate a strong sense of urgency and understand the importance of timely vehicle retrieval and guest service. You are dependable and willing to work independently while supporting the larger Valet team. You take pride in creating a welcoming, professional, and seamless arrival experience for every guest.

Ability to identify challenges, develop solutions, and help lead the team through operational changes. Demonstrated sense of urgency, reliability, and timeliness. Must meet company driving requirements and successfully complete required MVR screening.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
