Welcoming guests warmly and providing friendly, professional service throughout the valet experience. Accurately processing valet payments and handling credit card transactions. Maintaining an organized, clean, and efficient valet cashier station. Communicating closely with Valet Curators to ensure guest vehicles are retrieved promptly and efficiently. Assisting guests with questions about parking, hotel services, amenities, and local attractions. Listening to guest concerns and resolving questions, discrepancies, or service issues with professionalism and care. Maintaining accurate transaction information and following established cash-handling and security procedures. Protecting hotel and guest assets by following all required security policies and procedures. Supporting the Valet team during busy periods and helping maintain a smooth flow of guest arrivals and departures. Creating a welcoming and professional atmosphere at the front drive while remaining attentive to guest needs.

You are comfortable working with credit card transactions and learning valet systems and procedures. You understand the importance of protecting guest information, hotel assets, and vehicle-related information. You are dependable, professional, and committed to providing consistent service. You are comfortable working outdoors and understand that valet operations continue in varying weather conditions. You take pride in being a friendly and helpful point of contact for guests. You are willing to step in and support the Valet team wherever needed.

Education and Experience

Previous customer service, cashier, valet, hospitality, or hotel experience preferred. Strong understanding of the English language. Ability to communicate effectively with guests, coworkers, and leadership both verbally and in writing. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills. Ability to accurately process credit card transactions. Ability to learn and follow cash-handling, security, and operational procedures. Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment. Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and appearance at all times. Must be at least 21 years old. Must maintain a clean driving record with no more than one moving violation within a two-year period. Must successfully complete required annual MVR screening.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

Ability to stand and maintain well-paced mobility for up to eight hours during a shift. Ability to lift and transport items weighing at least 50 pounds. Ability to push and pull carts and other equipment weighing up to 250 pounds. Ability to move throughout the front drive and valet work areas as needed. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, wind, and other inclement weather. Valet operations may continue during inclement weather, and employees are expected to report for scheduled shifts unless otherwise directed by Management. Ability to work safely around moving vehicles and maintain awareness of guest and employee safety. Ability to maintain professionalism and attentiveness in a busy front-drive environment. Must wear comfortable, closed-toe, non-skid shoes while working. Must meet all company driving and MVR requirements.
