  • Support beta programs, product pilots, and field trials with internal teams, manufacturers, and service providers.
  • Document product performance, installation requirements, troubleshooting steps, known issues, and recommended best practices.
  • Assist with technical documentation, solution diagrams, training materials, SOPs, and support resources.
  • Work with Operations, QA, Technical Support, Sales, and customers to troubleshoot and resolve escalated product issues.

  • Assist with identifying required test equipment, installation tools, demonstration equipment, and support materials.
  • Maintain awareness of relevant installation standards, product requirements, cybersecurity considerations, and data privacy/security frameworks.
  • Support trade show, sales demonstration, and product lab setup, configuration, and testing as needed.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience specifying, designing, installing, servicing, testing, or supporting residential or commercial intrusion, video, fire, or access control technologies.
  • Knowledge of intrusion, fire/NFPA, video, access control, electronics, and National Electrical Code standards.
  • Experience with video solutions, IP networking, video monitoring, analytics, cloud-connected devices, SaaS platforms, or IoT technologies.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and compliance frameworks such as NIST, CCPA, or similar standards preferred.
  • NICET, ESA, or equivalent certification in Fire, Intrusion, Access Control, or Video preferred.
  • Strong troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and collaborate across Operations, Product, Sales, Support, and external partners.
  • Strong computer skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Must be able to work on-site at CPI’s Charlotte office and travel as needed.

  • Great medical, dental, vision, short- and long-term disability, and life insurance options.
  • Company-paid holidays, floating holidays, and paid time off.
  • 401(k) plan with a competitive company match.
  • Eligible for a free monitored security system after 90 days.
  • Education assistance.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
