The Operations Manager at Hunking Law, LLC is a crucial figure, responsible for overseeing and enhancing the case processing side of operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our team can effectively manage the workload while maintaining high standards of service and client support. The new Operations Manager will drive efficiency and scalability, fostering an environment where operational excellence aligns with the firm's mission to deliver outstanding client advocacy.

What you’ll do:

  • Operational Oversight: Lead the case processing operations to ensure smooth and efficient case advancement.
  • System Improvement: Identify and implement enhancements in existing operational systems, focusing on scalability.
  • Team Support: Act as a force multiplier by supporting and guiding the case processing team to remove bottlenecks and increase throughput.
  • Strategic and Hands-On: Balance between strategic oversight and hands-on involvement to ensure effective implementation of solutions.
  • Cross-Office Coordination: Facilitate communication and coordination across multiple office locations to maintain alignment.
  • Performance Tracking: Use existing SOPs and KPIs to assess performance, diagnose gaps, and drive necessary updates.
  • Long-Term Planning: Ensure system changes anticipate future needs, reinforcing the firm’s growth path.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Marketing/Intake Operations Manager to align front-end intake processes with case progression.

What we’re looking for:

  • Mindset Over Resume: Prioritize character, ability to think critically, and eagerness to learn
  • Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail with a proactive and forward-thinking approach.
  • Systematic Thinking: Capability to consider systemic solutions rather than temporary fixes.
  • Process Improvement Experience: Comfortable iterating on SOPs/KPIs; experience in process optimization is a plus.
  • Professional Services Background: Experience in legal operations, case processing, or another professional services environment is beneficial but not required.
  • Legal Knowledge: Familiarity with personal injury or case processing is helpful, though not mandatory.
  • Risk Awareness: Ability to anticipate potential operational risks, consider the broader consequences of decisions, and implement solutions with both immediate and long-term needs in mind.
  • On-Site & Travel Requirement: Must be able to work onsite and travel regularly among the firm’s locations in the Willamette Valley, including Corvallis, Albany, Junction City, and the Eugene area, as well as attend local firm and community events as needed.

Why you should work here:

  • Impactful Role: Engage in a high-impact position with direct access to and support from firm leadership.
  • Growth Opportunities: Join a growing firm where you can expand your impact and responsibilities as the case processing operation continues to scale.
  • Continuous Improvement: Build on established systems and processes while identifying opportunities to innovate, improve efficiency, and support future scalability.
  • Empowered Culture: Work within a values-driven environment that emphasizes pro-social behavior and respect.

Additional perks:

  • Compensation Structure: Competitive compensation based on experience, with the potential for additional performance-based incentives as the firm develops its Operations Management incentive structure.
  • 401(k) Plan: Benefit from a 5% employer match.
  • Health Insurance Reimbursement: Receive $500/month towards health insurance costs.
  • PTO & Sick Time: PTO and sick time are provided in accordance with Oregon law, with paid holidays included.

Join Hunking Law, LLC and become a vital part of a dedicated team committed to transforming the client experience through operational excellence. If you are a strategically minded leader ready to make a lasting impact, we invite you to apply and contribute to our firm's continued growth and success.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
