About the role
The Director, Regional Operations, leads dubbing production for assigned languages and markets across Asia and MENA. The role is accountable for regional production planning, studio and vendor performance, dubbing quality, and the timely delivery and loading of assets needed for planned title launches.
Working from launch schedules established by Title Management, the Director turns title priorities into regional production plans, manages capacity and dependencies, and resolves risks to delivery. The role partners with Global Localization to apply established standards, tools, workflows, and quality requirements, while addressing regional language, cultural, talent, and production needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead regional production: Direct dubbing production across assigned languages, from receipt of production-ready materials through recording, post-production, quality review, delivery, and asset loading. Provide direction to the regional team and set clear priorities across titles and vendors.
- Plan against title launches: Translate Title Management schedules into vendor assignments, production milestones, delivery dates, and asset-loading deadlines. Identify risks early and coordinate recovery plans.
- Manage studios and vendors: Oversee production assignments, capacity, schedules, quality, security, and technical compliance. Address performance or delivery issues with vendors and relevant internal partners.
- Ensure asset readiness: Coordinate the availability of scripts, source materials, reference assets, creative guidance, and specifications. Track completed dubs through validation and loading with the teams responsible for those steps.
- Apply localization standards: Partner with Global Localization to implement common workflows, terminology, quality expectations, and vendor practices. Share regional feedback on language requirements and production constraints.
- Resolve production issues: Coordinate vendors, Global Localization, Title Management, and Global Operations to address delays, defects, and missing inputs. Escalate risks that could affect a committed launch.
- Improve regional performance: Monitor on-time delivery, quality, rework, capacity, and asset readiness. Use the results to improve vendor execution and regional handoffs within the global operating model.

- Ability to plan production capacity, manage dependencies, identify delivery risks, and drive practical recovery plans.
- Experience working across regional and global teams, with clear communication across cultures and time zones.
- Commitment to localization quality and an authentic fan experience in each assigned language.
Preferred
- Experience in anime, streaming, television, film, gaming, or a related content business.
- Experience overseeing dubbing across multiple languages or markets.
