About the Role

The Senior Manager, Marketing Operations will lead marketing operations and execution readiness across the region. This role will turn marketing strategy and business priorities into coordinated, high-quality, locally relevant creative and promotional assets that launch on time across owned, paid, partner, platform, distribution, retail, and other relevant channels.

The role will support the delivery of marketing programs across local content launches, fan initiatives, partner activations, platform and distribution campaigns, and other regional priorities. You will ensure that all market requirements, creative adaptations, localization needs, partner deliverables, and launch dependencies are integrated into the operating plan.

You will work closely with Regional Marketing, Growth, Partnerships, Content, Creative Services, Communications & PR, Localization & Operations, Product and global teams. The role will connect strategy to execution by creating clarity across workflows, assets, approvals, dependencies, vendors, partners, and launch requirements.

This is a senior individual-contributor role requiring strong operating discipline, cross-functional influence, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities across markets and time zones.

Role overview - Lead Regional Marketing Operations

  • Develop and manage the operating model for marketing execution across the region, covering campaign intake, prioritization, planning, production, approvals, launch, reporting, and post-campaign review.
  • Translate regional marketing, growth, content, partnership, communications, and business priorities into clear operating plans, workstreams, milestones, owners, dependencies, and deliverables.
  • Establish structured workflows and governance that enable campaigns to move efficiently from brief to market.
  • Maintain a consolidated view of campaign readiness, asset status, risks, dependencies, capacity constraints, and open decisions.
  • Ensure marketing programs are delivered accurately, on time, and in line with brand, market, partner, legal, and channel requirements.

Drive Campaign and Launch Readiness

  • Lead operational readiness for content launches, seasonal campaigns, brand initiatives, partner activations, events, product moments, and market programs.
  • Create and maintain launch checklists, readiness trackers, campaign calendars, milestone plans, and operational dashboards.
  • Coordinate with Regional Marketing, Growth, Partnerships, Content, Creative Services, Communications & PR, Localization & Operations, Product and global teams.
  • Confirm that campaign briefs, creative assets, localized adaptations, media requirements, partner deliverables, approvals, and channel plans are ready for launch.
  • Identify launch risks early and drive mitigation, escalation, and resolution.
  • Lead post-launch reviews to capture performance insights, operational gaps, and improvement actions.

Manage Localization and Asset Operations

  • Coordinate the localization and adaptation of marketing assets across relevant languages, markets, channels, and audience segments.
  • Partner with Localization & Dubbing teams and external vendors to ensure translated, adapted, and culturally relevant assets are delivered on time and to quality standards.
  • Manage creative requests, briefing, production tracking, review cycles, legal approvals, partner approvals, version control, asset trafficking, and final delivery.
  • Ensure assets meet Crunchyroll brand standards, local market requirements, partner specifications, accessibility expectations, and channel guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate asset libraries, naming conventions, usage rights, delivery specifications, and version control.
  • Resolve missing, inaccurate, outdated, or non-compliant assets before launch.

Support Channel and Partner Marketing Operations

  • Coordinate campaign execution across owned, paid, earned, partner, retail, platform, distribution, and à la carte channel experiences where applicable.
  • Manage operational requests from regional and global partners, including briefs, asset delivery, approvals, title selection, reporting, and campaign closeout.
  • Ensure partner and channel deliverables are aligned with agreed timelines, specifications, commercial objectives, and brand standards.
  • Track partner and channel dependencies, issues, performance inputs, and required actions.
  • Support consistent operating practices across regional, global, and partner teams.

Manage Vendors and Cross-Functional Delivery

  • Manage relationships with creative agencies, localization vendors, production partners, media partners, freelancers, and other external service providers.
  • Establish clear scopes, briefs, timelines, service levels, quality expectations, approval paths, and escalation mechanisms.
  • Monitor vendor and partner performance across quality, timeliness, responsiveness, capacity, and cost.
  • Coordinate handoffs and decisions across teams operating in different markets and time zones.
  • Provide clear reporting on campaign status, risks, incidents, dependencies, and actions required from regional or global stakeholders.

Improve Marketing Operations and Measurement

  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, templates, checklists, dashboards, and reporting frameworks.
  • Establish metrics for campaign readiness, on-time delivery, asset completeness, approval cycle time, issue aging, vendor performance, and operational quality.
  • Analyze recurring delays, defects, incidents, and bottlenecks to identify root causes and corrective actions.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, automate, and scale marketing operations across the region.
  • Share best practices, market learnings, and operational insights across regional and global teams.
  • Support business continuity and incident response for critical marketing launches and channel programs.

Experience and qualification

  • 8+ years of experience in marketing operations, campaign operations, integrated marketing, program management, content operations, localization operations, or a related field.
  • Experience managing complex, multi-market marketing programs across entertainment, media, streaming, technology, gaming, consumer platforms, or a related industry.
  • Strong understanding of campaign workflows, creative production, localization, approvals, asset management, channel execution, and launch readiness.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and improve operating processes, workflows, checklists, dashboards, and quality-control frameworks.
  • Experience managing agencies, creative partners, localization vendors, production teams, media partners, or other external service providers.
  • Strong project management skills and experience managing multiple campaigns, markets, timelines, stakeholders, and dependencies.
  • Ability to balance creative quality, cultural relevance, brand consistency, launch deadlines, and operational constraints.
  • Experience working with Marketing, Growth, Partnerships, Content, Creative Services, Communications, Product, Legal, Customer Experience, Data, and global teams.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • High attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality, timeliness, and execution.
  • Ability to operate independently, influence without formal authority, and manage ambiguity in a globally distributed organization.
  • Willingness to travel regionally and internationally as required.
  • Fluency in English is required; knowledge of relevant local or regional languages is a significant plus.
  • Knowledge and passion for anime, entertainment, and fan communities is a significant plus.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
