The posting

Job Description:

This role will be located onsite in Valparaiso, Indiana. Typical hours will be Monday -Friday 7 am-4 pm. You must be willing to be on call 24/7/365

Maintenance Technician II's ensure effective functioning of the facility to provide an efficient and safe working environment for employees.

  • Maintains assigned facility through preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and other related systems.
  • Troubleshoots problems with systems and takes appropriate corrective action.
  • Maintains equipment with standard preventative maintenance procedures.
  • Monitors contractor performance and works closely with outside vendors and contractors to ensure work is completed according to specifications.
  • Assists with capital improvement projects as needed.
  • Performs other maintenance duties assigned by the facilities manager.
  • Assists with maintaining building security and immediately responds to building emergencies on a 24‐hour basis.
  • Performs efficient execution of the company’s mission statement, corporate strategy, goals, and objectives.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

1‐5 years of experience working with plumbing, electrical, and mechanical in a facility. High School Diploma or equivalent. Post‐secondary education and/or technical trade certificate is an asset.
