The posting

Job Description:

CSI is seeking a Product Manager to support NuPoint Time Deposits and related ancillary applications, including transfers and safe deposit boxes. This role will serve as a key connection between banking operations, customer needs, regulatory requirements, and software development.

The Product Manager will own product priorities and help determine what should be built and why, while partnering closely with Technical Product Owners, software engineers, Compliance, Operations, and other internal teams to bring enhancements from idea through delivery. The ideal candidate brings strong communication and organizational skills along with experience in banking, deposit products, core banking technology, product management, or business analysis.

What You’ll Do

  • Own and manage the product roadmap and backlog for Time Deposits and related NuPoint applications.
  • Evaluate customer ideas, enhancement requests, support issues, defects, and regulatory changes to determine priorities and next steps.
  • Define and document product features, requirements, workflows, and acceptance criteria for development teams.
  • Partner with Technical Product Owners and software engineers to translate business needs into actionable development work.
  • Participate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, roadmap discussions, and release activities.
  • Monitor regulatory and compliance requirements impacting certificates of deposit (CDs), IRAs, time deposits, and related banking products.
  • Develop deep knowledge of assigned applications and become a trusted subject-matter expert for internal teams.
  • Work with Compliance, Operations, Support, technical writers, and other stakeholders to ensure product enhancements meet business and customer needs.
  • Review customer-facing documentation to ensure product functionality is communicated clearly and accurately.
  • Occasionally support product demonstrations and conversations with customers, prospects, sales teams, or user groups.
  • Support product testing and validation as needed.
  • Manage multiple priorities while communicating progress, risks, decisions, and changing requirements to stakeholders.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in banking operations, deposit products, core banking technology, product management, business analysis, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of time deposits, CDs, IRAs, savings products, general ledger, balancing, or back-office banking operations is highly desirable.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain product needs to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
  • Experience working with product backlogs, requirements, customer enhancements, or software development teams.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple applications and competing needs.
  • Ability to research problems, ask the right questions, and make sound recommendations about product enhancements.
  • Ability to learn complex banking applications and develop into a product subject-matter expert.
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work independently while partnering across multiple teams.
  • Comfortable presenting product functionality and recommendations to a variety of audiences.
  • Ability to adapt as customer needs, regulations, and development priorities change.
  • Ability to travel approximately 10%.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with NuPoint or another core banking platform.
  • Experience supporting Time Deposits, CDs, IRAs, deposit operations, or other banking applications.
  • Experience creating features, user stories, acceptance criteria, or similar software requirements.
  • Familiarity with APIs and system integrations.
  • Experience working within Agile software development environments.
  • Familiarity with AHA, Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar product-development tools.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and collaboration tools.
  • Familiarity with AI productivity tools such as Microsoft Copilot is a plus.
  • College degree preferred but not required with relevant experience.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
