The posting

Voor de vacature van Freight forwarder bij onze klant zal je instaan voor volgend takenpakket:

  • Vanuit het magazijn in Bornem kijk je hoe je zoveel mogelijk paletten efficiënt kunt bijplannen bij eigen chauffeurs of deelpartijen
  • 80% van de ritten bestaat uit volle vrachten waardoor je voornamelijk beroep dient te doen op deelpartijen
  • Je stemt dagelijks af met de collega-planners in Temse om te bekijken er oplossingen bij de eigen chauffeurs zitten
  • Het grootste deel van de ritten gaat richting Duitsland, Frankrijk en de Benelux en je bewaart een goed overzicht voor welke regio je op welke partner beroep kunt doen
  • Vanuit een overzichtelijke planning bewaak je laad- en leverafspraken, beschikbaarheden en wijzigingen, zodat partners en interne collega’s tijdig over de juiste informatie beschikken
  • Na je inwerkperiode ken je de logistieke tarieven, transportnormen en commerciële afwegingen waardoor je kunt inspelen op de prijszetting
  • Je werkt samen met een supervisor en coördinatoren in het magazijn zodat alles tijdig klaar staat voor de chauffeurs om op te halen
  • Je evalueert de samenwerking met de deelpartijen en speelt dit door naar de verantwoordelijke
  • Je werkt in daguren van maandag tot vrijdag van 8u30 tot 17u00 (Je kan hierin schuiven op basis van de dagelijkse planning)

Voor de vacature van Freight forwarder bij onze klant herken je jezelf in de volgende competenties:

  • Je hebt reeds meerdere jaren ervaring als Transportplanner of Freight forwarder binnen internationaal wegtransport
  • Je hebt ervaring met externe transportpartners of deelvrachten
  • Je hebt kennis van transporttarieven en ERP-systemen
  • Je bent communicatief sterk en werkt graag in een magazijnomgeving
  • Je kunt je professioneel uitdrukken in het Nederlands en het Engels, kennis van het Frans is een plus
  • Je hebt een goed inschattingsvermogen en kunt goed overweg met een ERP-pakket
