The posting

De Process Engineer is verantwoordelijk voor het ontwikkelen, optimaliseren en borgen van efficiënte productieprocessen waarbij een optimale balans wordt nagestreefd tussen mens, machine en methode. Hierbij ligt de focus zowel op bestaande productieprocessen als op de implementatie van nieuwe producten en SKU’s.

De functie omvat het actief analyseren van productiegegevens en processen met als doel kostenbesparingen te realiseren, efficiëntie te verhogen en de output te optimaliseren. Op basis van deze analyses werkt de Process Engineer concrete verbeterprojecten uit en begeleidt je de implementatie ervan binnen de productieomgeving.

Daarnaast staat de Process Engineer in voor het opstellen van business cases voor procesverbeteringen, waarbij rekening wordt gehouden met scope, benodigde resources, timing, mogelijke risico’s en budgettaire impact. Je volgt deze projecten op van concept tot implementatie en zorgt voor een correcte verankering binnen de organisatie.

De Process Engineer:

  • Identificeert en implementeert verbeteringen rond kosten, efficiëntie en productiviteit binnen productieprocessen
  • Analyseert KPI’s en vertaalt deze naar concrete verbeteracties voor zowel machines als operatoren
  • Ondersteunt en coacht operatoren en line leaders bij het toepassen van optimale productiemethodes en werkprocedures
  • Speelt een actieve rol bij de introductie van nieuwe producten, processen en productwijzigingen binnen de productieomgeving
  • Coördineert productiegerelateerde activiteiten bij implementaties van nieuwe SKU’s en procesaanpassingen
  • Werkt nauw samen met verschillende interne afdelingen om een vlotte implementatie van verbeterprojecten te garanderen
  • Verifieert en certificeert productspecifieke printspecificaties volgens de geldende kwaliteitsnormen
  • Draagt bij aan een cultuur van continue verbetering (continuous improvement)

Voor deze functie wordt gezocht naar een analytische en resultaatgerichte professional met een sterke interesse in procesoptimalisatie binnen een productieomgeving.

  • Een bachelor- of masterdiploma in een relevante technische richting
  • Ervaring met Lean Six Sigma methodologie (minimaal Green Belt niveau is een sterke troef)
  • Ervaring binnen een productie- of industriële omgeving
  • Ervaring met relevante softwaretoepassingen voor procesanalyse en rapportering
  • Ervaring in projectcoördinatie en het opvolgen van verbeterprojecten
  • Goede communicatieve vaardigheden in het Nederlands en Engels
  • Kennis van of ervaring met cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) is een pluspunt
