Technische expertise en compliance spelen een cruciale rol in het succes van de organisatie op verschillende internationale markten.

Jobomschrijving

Als Technical Engineer ben je verantwoordelijk voor het verkrijgen, beheren en onderhouden van productcertificeringen die nodig zijn om producten toe te laten tot diverse markten. Deze certificeringen hebben betrekking op onder andere thermische prestaties, brandreactie en brandweerstand, milieuprestaties en mechanische eigenschappen zoals draagkracht en structurele sterkte.

Je werkt nauw samen met externe testinstellingen, interne engineeringteams en compliance-specialisten om ervoor te zorgen dat producten voldoen aan alle technische en wettelijke vereisten. Hierbij combineer je analytisch werk, technische berekeningen en praktische testondersteuning.

Wat ga je doen?

Certificering & Testing (±60%)

  • Contact onderhouden met externe test- en certificeringsinstanties;
  • Voorbereiden, opbouwen en begeleiden van producttesten;
  • Opstellen van technische dossiers en CAD-tekeningen;
  • Controleren van mechanische en technische prestaties ten opzichte van vereisten;
  • Uitwerken van oplossingen om certificeringen succesvol te behalen;
  • Beheren van externe opdrachten en goedkeuren van facturen.

Technische ondersteuning (±25%)

  • Ondersteunen van grotere bouw- en constructieprojecten waarin producten worden toegepast;
  • Technisch advies geven aan interne en externe stakeholders;
  • Oplossen van technische vraagstukken tijdens ontwerp- en uitvoeringsfase.

Interne samenwerking & ontwikkeling (±10%)

  • Deelnemen aan internationale meetings en technische trainingen;
  • Reizen binnen de organisatie voor overleg en ondersteuning;
  • Bijdragen aan kennisdeling binnen de technische teams.

Audits & rapportering (±5%)

  • Ondersteunen bij productaudits in productieomgevingen;
  • Aanleveren van technische data, stalen en statistieken aan auditors;
  • Opstellen van maandelijkse rapportages over voortgang en certificeringsstatus;
  • Rapporteren aan het management binnen vaste overlegstructuren.

Compliance & kwaliteit

Binnen deze functie werk je in een sterk gereguleerde omgeving waar compliance centraal staat. Er wordt gewerkt volgens internationale kwaliteits- en complianceprogramma’s, waaronder ISO-normen. Alle medewerkers volgen interne opleidingen en zijn verantwoordelijk voor het naleven van de geldende procedures en richtlijnen. De resultaten worden opgevolgd via interne audits en rapportering naar hoger management.

  • Je beschikt over een masterdiploma in een technische richting (bij voorkeur bouwkunde, mechanica of gelijkwaardig);
  • Je hebt bij voorkeur eerste ervaring in een technische of industriële omgeving;
  • Je bent analytisch sterk en nauwkeurig in je werk;
  • Je werkt zelfstandig en gestructureerd;
  • Je hebt interesse in regelgeving, productkwaliteit en engineering;
  • Je communiceert vlot met interne en externe stakeholders;
  • Je hebt een goede kennis van Nederlands, Engels en Frans;
  • Kennis van Duits is een pluspunt.
